Febuary 12th

**** Warning this post contains a rant ****** (just cuz its mine and i can!)
After 4 years I still can't believe how easily people black list others for their comments or take their comments to heart. It is NO ONE'S business what you do in your life or how you live it, after all they are just opinions simply put.
I have encountered this a few times in my life and more so on the net, I think this is due in part to how we view ourselves by comparing ourselves to others. Women do it all the time, in locker rooms, gyms and so on (think its partially due to society and how women have been percieved in the history of life) Men do it to (otherwise why else would a man ask "How big is too big? How small is too small?" it is only in rare cases where the people (men and women)are secure enough in themselves to not give a flying fuck what others think.
It is wrong to judge others by the way they present themselves (goes back to the "don't judge a book by the cover adage") I try not to judge others and not to lable them because I always try to put myself in their shoes (part of my upbringing even though my dad is a good portion of redneckness)
We are in a society that is repeating itself (remember the pre 80's era where sex was underground but basically free?) and because of this unless we (as a society) make changes in the way we view others we will always be doomed to repeat it.
I realize that i'm backwards to most in most aspects of my life (one partner at a time, 3 square meals a day, one leg in the pant at a time yadda yadda yadda) but one thing that I CANNOT be is a fake or flake, i'm way too grounded. I'm genuine, honest and true to myself. This may be a problem for some but what i've found with most is that they appreciate me for those values. To the rest who don't like this........go piss up a tree!
