Today's blog focuses on "attitude". Today I went to Kelowna's Pick-N-Pull...which for those of you who don't know is an auto dismantler where you can go and pull the parts you need off the vehicles they have. Good idea, BUT there are many annoyances that this business has. Here are but a few: 1) their customer service/ front counter girls/guys - i do not know for the life of me why they hire YOUNG women to do these jobs, does management THINK that the girls are going to attract more business? does management seriously think that these girls know their car parts? i suppose some of them might, but most of their employee's that work the front counter have as much intelligence as my right pinky finger! 2) their policy on wheelbarrows - folks they don't let ya have a wheelbarrow till you have paid your loonie and signed your life away you CAN'T even step past the front counter and get one, their excuse - too many wheelbarrows were being stolen, my respose - GET SOME WORKERS THAT HAVE MORE THAN ONE BRAIN CELL 3)their policy for announcing when they will be closing - how many times do we have to hear "ATTENTION CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSTOMERS, ATTENTION CUSTOMERS PICK AND PULL WILL BE CLOSING IN 30 MINS, (20 MINS, 10 MINS) PLEASE BRING ALL PURCHASES TO THE FRONT AND PAY FOR THEM (like we were going to go somewhere else and pay for them?) 4)their noncompliance issues that they have for helping a person, if you go to KELOWNA'S PICK N PULL located at 1516 Stevens Road don't expect any of their staff to be: HELPFUL, ATTENTIVE, or even FRIENDLY - it ain't going to happen. Every time that I have went there i've found their staff to be: RUDE, IGNORANT, MANNERLESS and MINDLESS. I think that management needs to either fire all of them or give them lessons in public relations and how to deal with the public in a curteous and knowledgable manner.
I will be writing to the management of PICK N PULL KELOWNA because of this incident and I will be asking that the appropriate action be taken. No consumer deserves to be treated in a rude fashion after all if it wasn't for consumers stores would not survive.

lol I told the girl that she had a bad attitude and her response was "i didn't say anything to you" i said, "you didn't have to your actions speak way louder than your words", to which she threw my bank card across the counter to me as well as the reciepts and then told me that "if i did have a comment there was a comment box to put it in" at that point I walked out. I do plan to phone this morning and get the managers name and definately write them a letter.
