The First Post

The Month is full of firsts, my first wink, my first picture posted, my first email connection, my first blog. I have been bouncing around in this service to see what can and can not be done and whom I can find to make life less boring.

Welcome to all who decided to read my disjointed first post.

I'm just your average guy who has had a long run of bad luck. Okay, if it wasnt for bad luck I wouldnt have any luck at all. What do I mean about bad luck, well what would you call getting caught in the high tech slump just as you bought a new car and found out you have no job anymore. Yes I sold the car. The part that gets me the most is I have started taking life day by day and I still get the short end of the stick. Try working shift work and renting a new place then find out after 3 months you have 2 shifts instead of 5 and you are now getting 18 hours instead of 60. Yep you guessed it lossed the new place. Moved into a small bedroom, okay it was 8 feet by 9 feet had a SMALL bathroom a sink and a microwave. Here it comes, 3 weeks of no shifts, yep lost the little room and most of my stuff.

So here I am just getting out from under and looking for a new place, friends are nice but who wants to stay in a friends house and ruin a good friendship. Yes I stayed with friends, no more than a week each to avoid causing or being a problem. Yep you can guess, haven't heard from the friends in a long while.

Here we are in August, just under 20 days left waiting for one more paycheck to rent another small room. Guess what all the places you can find are SMALL; dont stretch your arms to your sides you will touch both walls, I'm 6'2" tall. Yes I will be taking one of those lovely rooms where the view is a brick wall from the building next door.

So Now that I am here and have been looking around for around a week, I get a wink from another standard member and spend time trying to find out how to say HI. Yes I sent a wink back and did finally get a message off to her, Gotta love getting winked at, it brings a smile to the face.

Well thats enough ranting or rambling for a first post ... in future I think I will assault one and all with a few puns and groaners, or perhaps I will get a request to a meal when I have been told what there is available to cook with ... yes I cook, just hate to cook for one. If anyone reads this and wants to see what I can come up with, give me a list of food stuffs, Whats in the fridge when your board, and I will see what I can dream up to make out of them.

I hear what you're saying. 2 years ago, I was living with my (now ex) girlfriend, had a brand new 2003 Harley Sportster and was doing not too bad. Now fast forward to the present. No girlfriend, no bike and a shit job. Someone told me once upon a time that life is like a roller coaster, with ups and downs. I'm just waiting for the up part again. Hang in there dude.
