This is the first day in awhile where I haven't had anything really important to do (like garden at a client's house). Spring is like that. Planting annuals; pulling weeds that are growing like, well, weeds; planning gardens; so it goes.
I've been doing a lot of driving getting to my clients (I need clients closer to home!) as a result. I'd forgotten what a pain traffic can be.
Trying to merge onto 75 I found I hated (it's a strong word, I know) drivers who wouldn't change lanes (they were open, I looked) to let me get on the highway from the ramp.
Of the three lanes, the middle and high-speed/passing lanes were wide open, and I almost get rear-ended by a semi who won't change lanes?? That driver did not take the next exit (thus losing the excuse that his exit was impending). No. After I got out and into the middle lane, I passed him and he gestured at me! wtf? Twice rude? Or was it just me?
Thank goodness not all drivers are selfish, small-minded, dumb-ass lane-owners.
Whew. Rant over. Back to normal now. Everybody else have a good, safe drive.
