Changing of the Guards - The Closing of a Chapter in AFF History

Ok, maybe that is a bit dramatic but you are here so it must have worked.

MrRoarke2005 has served his purpose and it is time to move one and put him to rest. I've changed my profile name again to Thinkingway2hard.

Each time is has been for a specific purpose and time in my life. When I first started with AdultFriendFinder, my name was Junkmale. After a couple of weeks, I realized that it was a lame name. Who wants to contact anyone associated with junk?

I then decided to get serious and devise a plan. I do have a marketing background, so why not treat this like a marketing campaign? I wanted to attract a certain fanbase to while attaining certain desires which equated to success.

I set out to do just that. I purchased a SILVER plan for a single month as a test and created the name, Hrdazarock. Coupled with a few sizzling pics, I instantly received many inquiries.

I believe that if you want to maximize your success on this site you must must connect all the dots.

Dot 1) Have a good name
Dot 2) Good profile...more than the bare necessaties. This is geared more to the males than the females. Females can have the bare minimum by recanting the alphabet and will receive umpteen messages daily just due to the ratio of males-to-females.
Dot 3) Provide an alternative means of contact that coincides with your profile name. This may take a few profile names to get one that works.
Dot 2b) Taking the above into consideration, you need to relay your alternative means of communication but with some tact. You can't blurt out the actual name else risk being caught by email filters. I've used two with great success but have seen some others that are too very creative.
Dot 2b-i) Where the ya and the hoo meet.
Dot 2b-ii) At the smiley face
Dot 2b-iii) moc tod oohay ta hrad2yawginkinth
Dot 2b-iiii) At the chocolate drink
Dot 4) For gosh sakes, part with some dough at purchase a membership. Remember, GOLD members' listing float to the top so they are the first seen during a search.

Okay, enough with passing of the obvious knowledge stuff.

Once, I got burnt for the last time in Dec. of 2004, I closed down my account.

Realizing that I couldn't blame everyone for only a few peoples failures, I decided to return.

I came back as one seeking specific fantasies to be fulfiller. MrRoarke2005 was my ticket. He acutally was pretty successful but his era is now littered with my failed attempts through this BLOG and I don't want to carry that around forever.

So, it is now time to create someone that has a new lease on things (currently going through a divorce). Since, I now ahve the house to myself nd really don't need to mask my appearance this now opens some doors and opportunities. I thought this was a great time to change my name. Too, lets face it, nothing is as dull as getting hit on a guy with a highschool class ring after highschool. So, it is time to put the soon-to-be outdated MrRoarke2005 away and bring on the shiny and new Thinkingway2hard.

With this profile, I'm not bound by a funky one-sided name. It is just funky. That is all cool, 'cause that is who I am. A little goofy. Get over it.

I have just connected all my dots with the exception of my pics. I feel as though they are a bit outdated. I haven't changed that much but to be fair to all the pics need to be current (See my post entitled, "MrRoarke's Rantings...Pictures: Memorex or Alien?").

I bid all my followers a farewell.

I may be back to add to this BLOG but may intead just create a new one using the new name.

Hello...This post is to remind you about the Blogger's Convention scheduled October 21,22,23 and set for the ChicagoLand area(Bolingbrook--a suburb)

It is a chance for you to meet the folk that you have been reading, commenting, and chatting with. Before we go any further, this is NOT a giant sex orgy but a chance to interact with your new found blogging friends face-to-face.

The opening night festivities are still in the planning stage.(I need to have an actual head count on that before I can proceed and make commitments to the banquet facility. But in the plans are a Masked Ball--expected to be a lavish formal affair)

The 46 Zone Party will be held on the evening of the 22nd at the 46 Zone bar attached to the Ditka Dome(enclosed sports dome facility with an indoor driving range) Typically the bar has a live band on Saturday nights (no cover charge to date) The food and drink costs there are reasonable and one can imbibe for about twenty bucks.

There will be an "after" party on the 21st after the Masked Ball; and a "before" and "after" party on the 22nd in the hospitality suite at the hotel to continue on with the festivities. These parties will have food and alcohol/soft beverages and will be bought in bottle form with appetizer platters from local stores. The bar in the hospitality suite would be a serve yourself type of set-up.

The hotel is new and nicely furnished. Complimentary breakfasts are included with the room; the hotel has a pool, workout facility, complimentary wi-fi service, in-room coffee makers, mini refrigerators, iron & ironing board, and laptrays to support your laptops. There is a complimentary coffee bar located off the lobby area which is available 24 hours for a selection of coffees, teas, and hot chocolate. Hotel rates are reasonable and information can be found at Convention Information Pictures of the hotel and its rooms are also available for you to see.

In the works is a photo session opportunity as well as some classes/demos.

If you have not already done so, you are also invited to join bloggers of this friendly site The group was designed to address the technical aspects of blogging, but has metamorphosized into something much more--a "family" of bloggers...many of who will be attending the upcoming Convention.

Thank you for your time and I hope to meet you in person.
