Zer0 T0lerance...

One day I am going to be able to post something that I really enjoy talking about. Because this post is to vent. I recieved this message: ... "You call yourself a brother? Then why do you have so many white girls in your network?"...

Allow me, MrNuttz, to share a story with you, that is, before I tear into the ignorance that plagues many individuals here on FFA. I was born in a small town in Louisiana. The community was 50 - 50, tightly knit, & really took care of one another. But this was a State that was governed by the grand wizard of one of the most hateful organizations of all, the kkk... We moved to Detroit in my elementary years and I remember watching cartoons on a Saturday morning, remember that? Anyway, they interrupted the show with a news flash. A young MrNuttz bellows out, "WTF"?" My mother ask, "What's going on?", so I explain. She ask, "What color is he?".......................(SILENCE).................. "He's blue." My mom says, "Blue?". "Yeah, he is wearing a blue suit & tie, so he's blue." You see, at the age of 8 I had no idea of what black & white was. I grew up around many kinds & many cultures. Racism to me was hate! And I viewed it as a social disturbance, not a bias in color. Racism is hate, It was then, it is now! I was a young naive boy that believed that ignorance will decipitate when I got older, when everyone got educated. But obviously, there are lessons still to be learned.

The ignorance here is grand. And for the few that know me on this site know that I can get pretty pissed off from time to time & it usually has to do with someones ignorance. I usually just ignore it, just slide by it. But when a ignorant son-of-a-bitch enters my profile to question who I choose to communicate with, it kind of boils my blood. As a African American male that has traveled the world, I have seen racism in it's worse form. Believe it or not, when I was in Japan with a friend of mine, who was also African American, don't you know that we were followed @ sunset to see if 'tails' were going to grow out of our ass! A wise old tail that they believe about people of 'Dark Skin'!... I have spent time in a Mississippi jail for doing 56 mph in a 55 mph zone... And to top off all of the racism, my 90 year old GrandMa was arrested over a year or so ago down in Louisiana. For what you might ask? Well, she was throwing rocks... Throwing rocks at members of the kkk who were marching in that same old town that I was born in... Everyone has rights!

My point is, I deal with ignorance, prejudicies, & ignorance all day & every day! Society gives me a healthy dose of it. I don't need to, nor do I choose to deal with it here. I have zero tolerance for it. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We all have our preferences, but that does not mean that a individual is a racist... A poor female friend of mine got upset about a jerk that left a message on a BLOG of hers that stated she wanted to experience sex with a African American... Get a fucking clue people... The 'We shall overcome!' chant still goes in vain. And the ignorance is coming from both sides of the fence. Where do you even begin? So for all of you jerks out there, think again before you come barking in MrNuttz yard. I don't want to hear that bullshit! Keep it to yourself! I luv people, sorry if I don't play into that this society & government divides us. I have seen a lot, but I WILL NEVER SEE A COLOR IN YOU!

Hang in there dear, you know the short form of ignor-ance is ignore. I know it is hard to do sometimes but I would ignore it all. I can't stand a racist person, or one who questions what I am doing when they are here being "closet" women. (a woman who does things on the low) You can have as many friends as you wish. Dont let anyone dictate to you who you can have as friends, Hell if you had all black women there they would probably accuse you of fucking them all. So you cant win for losing. Dont burn ur energy for the likes of those kinds of people.

I am the real deal! "Come Get Me!!!"

You've been through a lot. Anyone of hue darker than peach has. But here is the bottom line directly addressed to the person that asked about your network:

You owe them nothing. You do not owe them an explaination of why you have who you do in your network. You may want to enlighten them to remove the shakles from their brains and understand that "blackness" is not based on who we associate with. You may also want to do them a favor by offering a ride of off the mental plantation they are on by buying into the concept (a one born in racism by the way) that all black people do the same thing and can be characterized by certain stereotypes.

But you really don't have to do all that. You could do what I would do, and tell them that you are sorry for whatever brother rejected them for some white girl, but it wasn't you. And you'd really appreciate it if they would go find said brother and bitch at them for hurting your feelings. OR, they can find someone to trifle with because they have so little to do, they they scan people's profile networks with a "black barometer"...but it's not you.

Or, you could be really nice, and just ignore them. Someone probably stole their cheese sandwich today, and they were just venting.

Wise words spoken by all my friend Mr. Nuttster. I shake my head constantly at shit like this. I went to a college in the middle of no where and with a lot of "interesting" country folk. I would never dare to say that all country people are biased, but I sure did meet alot there.

I had the joy of taking my college roommate, someone who to this day saved my life one night and love him like a brother forever, into the city and to experience the people he had only heard about in rumors and stereotypes. Yes, to much suprise, The Dude has friends of all colors, creeds, religions, and social backgrounds. So I took him into the projects one evening while he was visiting. He was terrified! He was unconforetable, and his hard ass side went right out the window.

As we left, hours later, he had a beaming smile on his face. He told me that many things he grew up around and heard, and said, and experienced had been shook that evening. I then took him into the suburbs, the rural areas, and introduced him to hateful, angry people. His mind was blown that day. But he understood. He knew. And knowledge is a VERY powerful thing. Stereotypes and bias are fragile things, that can be destroyed as easily as they can be created. It just takes experience and good hearted people to show this.

I adore all of my friends, and treat them like family. I had a party at my house some years back. My friends from the projects came, friends from high society came, friends from college country areas, and those I grew up with who i was labeled with as "white trash" came. And could you believe it, everyone had a great time! everyone got along, mixed it up, and new friendships were formed. Ones that are strong to this day. Ones that Im proud of.

It takes openmindedness, a sence of humanity, and strength to overcome these things. I see all of these in you my friend, which is why I was drawn to you in the first place. Likeminded people, and an ability to see past culture, race, social backgrounds, and anyother silly shit, will always rise above.

So keep walking the higher ground my friend. The air up here is crisp, its clean, and its full of life. Walk on Mr. Nutts, walk on, and stay strong, head up, and walk tall and proud.

dont you just hate it when you write something, hit "Post" and then 10 min later think of something else you wanted to say??!!!

Anyway, I was thinking about that party that I had. One thing that makes me smile years later to this very day! I walked out on my side porch during the festivites, a perfect chill spot. This is what I saw:

The biggest um...."street pharmacist" from one of the worst projects in Pittsburgh, a very wealthy college student from high society family studying to be a big businessman, and a corn fed farm boy from the sticks. All three were laughing, passing a bottle of Jack back and forth, and telling stories, jokes, and very much so enjoying eachothers company. By the end of that evening, they were like family. The kid from the projects and the country boy went to the wealthy kids house and were treated like royalty by his family and invited back numerous times afterwards.

The country boy gave the city boy his first experience on a farm, at a party surrounded by hay bails and tracktors! And the two were also invited to a block party in the projects, treated like memebers of the community, and always welcome back. To this day they are the closest of friends, the three damn amigos. Its people like that who give me true hope for the future.

The kid from the projects went to the rich kids house

The Cavalry to my rescue! Thanks guys... Your support has made me feel that I am not alone in my crusade!

Straightten - Ignore the ignorance! Trust me, I do. That is 99 times out of 100. This was just that 100th time! I can't win for losing... You got that right. But I am here to please MrNuttz. Thank you!

BuxomFrau - You are correct! I owe them nothing... I loved your comment about "Blackness"! It is oh so true... And whoever stole thier cheese sandwich, I hope they give it back to them... Your words are wise...

Pet Humility - Yeah, sometimes I lose it! When you get kicked out of "Anger Management" for having a bad temper, well, you have a bad temper! Just the wrong time to push 'that' button. I will be o.k. though. But I have been known to swing 1st & ask questions later... Thanks for stopping by

Duststormdiva - What is a color? There is so much more to see in a person, than a damn color. Here is a joke; What do you call a black man in a airplane? .........A Pilot......... Thank you for bringing up that aspect!

Method - Thanks for stopping by, bro'. It's hard dude. Everyday it's some BS going on, in society, at your job, I just want to come to FFA & release... Just a personal meltdown, with peeps like you having my back I am on the road to recovery. Thanks...

MY Queen - Thank you for being my 'Personal Reference' but they don't need to know. I wouldn't want to bless them with your presence & I wouldn't want to dampen your spirits with theirs... A King definitely needs a Queen, & I thank you

Dash - Dude, when I was 17 years old I left the nest. I found out that this is a big world out here, ya know... Some people are afraid to leave that neighborhood because it is all that they know. It is a safe haven for them. But if you give a different culture a chance, I bet 100 - 1 that you would love it... Right outside of Detroit it is a city called Dearborn. This city has the biggest Arab community in America. When Saddam was captured, guess who partied there asses off? The city of Dearborn. Don't judge me until you know me, that's all. If I am a racist bigot, let me prove it. I don't have a problem with you because you are a 'white asshole'... I have a problem with you because you are a asshole... Dash, love you bro' & if nobody knew you are WHITE!

Elysianpleasure - Thank you bro' for stopping through... Hopefully, when you come back I will be talking about sex on this site sex. Go figure.

Chivas - Colorblind you are my friend. Either that, or we are just an advanced society living amongst the brain dead. Thanks bro' for checking in on me...

Mr Nuttz, I'm well impressed by your posts. As the lighter half of a mixed race couple ,I have been immersed in what I now know is a hidden world of racism. If you dont live it , as a white person, you just dont see it! Ignorant white people accuse people of colour of whingeing.... I'm just overwhelmed by how patient and tolerant you all really are in the face of such provocation..I think bigots should stop basing their intolerant doctrines due to anxiety over dick size(real or imagined) and start seeing people for the individuals that they really are.
If the roles were reversed , and white men were the ones suffering the racism, I think we'd have world war 3 on our hands overnight.
With people like you around to show the true face of humanity as it should be, I feel hopeful for eventual change. But it will take time and patience.
And Dasher... i could give you a big cuddle too. What lovely blokes you are.Keep on seeing the insides and ignore the crap that ignorant people insist on throwing at us. Dodge that shit!

If you're ever in London Mr Nuttz, come have a drink with us.
