[font face=papyrus]My sister left today, she's on her way back to GA. I can't lie, I felt my heart broke to pieces when she left... I had to fight to keep my tears to my self so she wouldn't see them. You know, trying to let her go without feeling bad for having to leave and all. I'm going to miss her so much. The few days we spent together this week has made me realize how much I need her and how much I really miss her. I hope to see her again soon, very soon. I don't think I can go another 5 years without seeing her and her babies.

On another note, I haven't heard from the hospital yet, in regards my son, he's home, and I'm guessing he's doing fine, but I haven't received the results of the tests yet.

6/30/2006 10:11 am sister is visiting this summer too. And when it's time for her to go home it is really hard. Being together makes me relize how much we miss out on each other's lives even though we talk on the phone often. Hope you son's tests are alright.

Family is a funny thing. You seem to be very close to your sister, and you will miss her. Emotions are good, and valid. If you feel sad, you should express it. I have a strange relationship with my family, and we are not what you may describe as very close - which you seem to be, but i do chat to my brother as often possible on IM (he lives in Singapore, and I live in South Africa). I feel closer to him now, than i ever did before. And I believe that we are closer now than we ever were before because we have to make the effort.

Distance can be a strange thing - you will miss the day to day things, and you may miss the growing up of her babies, but you can do may practical things to catch up. What about a web cam, or video letters? or even special home-made objects that you send back and forth?

When your heart has stopped breaking, you will find the answers, and make a plan that will work for you all.

As for your son - all our prayers and best wishes are with you all.

Good luck, and I wishs you all the very best.

As the Bard wrote, "Parting is such sweet sorrow...", but at least the time that you and your sister spent together was good.

Good luck on the news about your son....
