I need a nap!

I know, I haven't been as active here lately... But I've got a good excuse!... I've been working!! I think I might've finally found a job I like, and the pay's worth the boredom! Well, actually, training, but I still get paid anyway, the only problem is that I work in Lincolnshire, and live in Chicago... I have no car, so I'm using public transportation and it takes me 3 hours each way. Which means, for me to be there by 8am, I have to leave by 5am, and I don't get home til 8pm because I get off at 5pm. So, I'm hoping to get a car soon though, then I'll be more active, in the mean time... why don't you answer some questions for me??

1. Do you like your job?

2. What did you want to be when you grew up?

3. What did you end up doing?

I was let go from a shitty job about a month ago... Security Officer... something I settled for about a year or so ago when my convenience store that I managed was sold out from under me. Right now my "job" is finding a job... but since I've got the cushion of unemployment comp (which worked out to be more than my former paycheck!) I have the luxury of being more picky. I can do retail management just about anywhere, so my priority this time around is finding a location other than Pittsburgh.

Right now I love my job. The trouble is I don't earn quite enough money from it to live on so I don't know how long I can keep doing it.

I wanted to be doing basically what I'm doing now, only I wanted to be making a lot of money from it, too.

If things get better and more stable for me I won't be so vague about what I do. Let's just say it's something in the arts, it's hard work, it's full of attractive people, and everyone is insane.

Sorry about the travel woes but as you say, it will change with time.
As for the questions, well let's see...
1. Sometimes
2. Radio Broadcaster
3. An Emergency Medical Tech

Not much glory but quite the reward for knowing a full days work may have been spent saving a life or changing it for the better.
I do still wonder what would have happened if I had stuck to the dream and became a radio broadcaster. I most likely would never had met my wife and therefore would most likely not be here to post this reply. Anyway, We do wish you all and every best with the job and We hope things settle for you soon.

Love my job but the pay could be better.
Wanted to be a golf course superintendent. But not like Carl Spackler from Caddy Shack.
Got my dream job and trying not kill all the gophers just golfers.

1. Do you like your job? It's not bad. Gotta pay the bills.

2. What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be an attorney until I actually met one....

3. What did you end up doing? I'm pretty much a geek of all trades.

1. I LOVE MY "WORKING-FROM-HOME" BUSINESS ( it's not a job) BECAUSE I OWN IT; WHICH MEANS, I WORK WHEN I WANT TO, WITH NO BOSSES TO ANSWER TO.

I SET MY OWN HOURS AND DO NOT HAVE TO COMMUTE IN TRAFFIC, EXCEPT FROM MY BEDROOM IN THE MORNING (& IF LUCKY, SOME "Passion Network Freinds Pussy"), TO MY TELEPHONE AND MY COMPUTER, WHEREVER I WISH TO START WORKING THAT DAY.

2.I ALWAYS WANTED TO BE SELF-EMPLOYED, WITH MY OWN BUSINESS AND TO BE MY OWN BOSS, LIKE MY DAD WAS. I DID NOT HAVE A CLUE HOW I WAS GOING TO DO IT YEARS AGO, BUT THIS WAS MY DREAM.

3. I AM DOING IT !! ( Since you are in my Network, GET BACK TO ME, since you have my personal e-mail address from previous communications. I can show you how to do the same, if or when interested in being the Master of your own Destiny)!!

Nessa, Spare yourself the pain of that "working for others slave existance"; you are way to beautiful, sensuous & intelligent, to allow that manner of "existance" to ultimately define you.

YOUR INTIMATE PLEASURE & FINANCIAL REWARD OPPORTUNITIES AWAIT!!

The job I have now is ok, it pays the bills but the job I use to have I loved but I got fired for fighting.

When I was a kid I dreamed about joinig the Marine Corps so what did I do, I joined the Navy and I am still in today, 26 years later.

I grew up in Chicago but now live up in Great Lakes.
