A Poem from Inside the Glass House

Thirty minutes with you and my mind clears
I see your face and my heart leaps
We only touch in furtive gestures
Whispering our desire
Hungering, but not for food

Thirty minutes with you leaves me wondering
what an hour could do for my thirst
what a day could do for my driving need
what a week could do for my passion

Thirty minutes with you makes me realize
what these months have done for my life
what the year will do for my soul
what our time together really means

If thirty minutes were all we had together,
then why did it seem so timeless?

Enough for the desire
Enough for the hunger
Enough for the driving need

Because of the look in your eyes,
the taste of your lips,
and the feel of your skin upon mine.

If thirty minutes is all we can ever have,
I will be there with you, every time.

Wondering if thirty minutes can provide you with all you believe you need, but more importantly, all you know you deserve.

Got some real interesting stuff bouncing around up in there, dontchya?
