Gay Men

Since joining this website a few gay men have responded. Not that this is anything new to me or intollerable, but you can't lead them to believe you are interested in any way shape or form or otherwise they could get irate. So I more or less automatically reject these inquiries. I guess I sort of experience the same thing women go through with men, somewhat and it's not easy I have to admit.

Well stated, voicing your feelings yet trying not to offend gays. Rejection, or facing adversity for differences of opinion, can bring about an anger mainly based on insecurity or lack of tolerance of someone not in agreement with you, revealing a lack of maturity.

Seriously maxxo, your point has been made and I applaud you for that. But isnt it also the same way with gay men and women. I mean, I am gay. I admit that. Though I act completly str8 and women get me confused for a str8 guy all the time. So, You said that it isnt easy. Well, In a way gay guys leaving you messages is like a women leaving me messages. Even though my profile says that I am gay people just wonder can they still have a chance. I, being MATURE, dont even have to think twice before taking it as a complement and mearly state that I am not interested in anything more than good conversation. I find this tactic to work very well. Also, you cant blame gay men or women in my case for making you feel unconfortable. Because in the end your emotions are yours and you make yourself feel the way you do. So, next time a gay guy flirts with you or wants to meet. Just take it as acomplement and let it go. Dont ponder on it. lol
