Heart broken...

Found out today that a friend was heart broken..not sure what I could say or do to make her feel better. Told her to stay away from that cad but would she listen?? Nooooo!!

A woman in love is a very annoying thing...she already defies logic as her noraml self, but when love comes into the picture, she seems to stop using her brain altogether...

As a friend, all I could do was pop by her place after work, tried to cheer her up and gave her a few quick Os to put her to sleep...

Next time, I'll keep my opinions to myself because seeing her hurt like this would be less painful to me if I didn't know she did it despite my disapproval.

*sigh*...love can suck so big time...

What can I say... as a friend.. you already benefited...

Anyways... Love is so bright that it blinds ones heart...

But love is so much better than hate.....

Your friend will get over it over time.... She just needs time to think and do some adjustments to life is required.

Most women defies logic when they are in the whirl winds of love.....They only wake up after the storm.....

Yes yes...I agree with both of yous...
BTW...I didn't preach after the fact...the pain lies in the unheeded preaching before the relationship started...

Anyhoo, spoke with her today and she's all honky dory again...it's just a brave front but a very well constructed brave front...she's just lovely!!

Major, there's an old quote that goes, "A woman uses her intelligence to find reasons to support her intuition".

And ever notice how a heart-broken woman will cry her eyes out for a day or a week maybe and be fine after that, but a heart broken man will brood for months to years. When it comes to feelings women have it sussed.

And remember you'll only ever hear the bad things about a woman's boyfriend. She never talks about her good experiences with him.

Very true mate...there's a theory on why this happens though...feel I should share but fear the reactions won't be good...so may have to keep it to myself.

Not true about a woman's boyfriend...I hear plenty of good things about them...so much so that my girlfriends are immune to the rolling of my eyes on other issues...heh heh
