Animal Sense

My sister is away in Aruba for a week (lucky shit) so I am cat sitting for her.

She has 2 cats, a beautiful black male and a calico female. I go there twice a day to feed them and give the female medication.

The female has a thyroid condition and my sister had tried many ways to get the medicine in her. She wouldn't take it in any way or form. So the medication is a gel that is absorbed through the skin.

It needs to be applied to the only spot on the cat that doesn't have fur. Which happens to be on the inside of the ear. Now normally this cat is very skittish (she came from an abused home) and doesn't get that close to people.

But everyday I have gone there, she comes up to me, rubbing her head against my hands. Making it easy for me to administer the medicine. Maybe its because I am the only human contact they have this week. Who knows.

They say animals have a sense about people and how they are. What do you guys think?

All I know is my dog is getting jealous LOL

Yes, animals do have a GREAT sense about people. One of the best judge of people are my two girls -- one a Siamese and the other a Doberman! Hugs to the kitties!
