Workplace issues (for the new ones who asked)

To put it simply…

My boss has made comments about me being gay…

He has threatened physical violence at me for sending a female co-worker flowers…

Management has been accused of having sex with female employees in exchange they gave them promotions…

Just two weeks ago a male and female were caught having sex in the women’s bathroom and management did not do anything about it when company policy clearly states both people are to be fired immediately…

The female caught was actually one of the ones accused of having sex with a member of management in order to get a promotion…

This specific girls mother is also accused of having sex with a member of management to get her promotion when she got it 2 years ago about the time I started working there.

I have filed 7 written complaints in the past 2 years, none of which were looked into, like I was told they would be…

14 other employees have filed almost identical complaints over the past 4 years.

It took me threatening to get the labor board officially involved and then a member from home office came in and interviewed me. She contacted loss prevention, and they came in and took a formal voice and written complaint. There were 4 people in the room including myself. Only two and myself were talking though… the other two were taking written notes.

All members of management are being investigated for harassment, possible exchange of sexual favors, as well as showing favoritism to the female employees. My boss is strictly being looked at for harassment and having sex with the women working with us. The other managers are facing potential criminal issues though for having neglected all of these things for such a long time.

I did give them one month before I start making official “outside” inquiries and get the press involved as well.

This all originally started because my boss was running around making sexual remarks about women behind their backs. I have personally spoken to all the women talked about though and told them word for word as to what was being said about them. A perfect example being that my boss literally almost jumps up and down when he sees a woman with a loose belt on telling us it is her cum rag and such.

Management should have dealt with that and I would not have pushed the rest… now I found out the details and have to possibly ruin their careers. That is their problems though… not mine. The women I work with need to learn to keep their legs shut, and the men need to learn how to keep it in their pants. Most of society is the same way… but this only involves my specific work environment.

(I know I posted much of this previously… but I had some new people asking and thus am explaining it again. This is just a short list though, my original write up was 4 pages long and that was a summary. When I gave my written statement a few days ago it was 17 pages long).

It is not against the law... in my state it is legal to carry a sword as long as it is not concealed. It is also legal to carry a firearm even as a concealed weapon. Most guys here have their hunting rifles in their vehicles and carry a pistol in the glovebox.

Mystic learn to defend yourself using only that which you know you always have......and that is yourself! it is the one and only thing no one can take from you....and use against you

Yes to go armed is to make yourself a target...... that is the simple truth of it!

>>>I carry my longsowrd on me all the time Tiger

...I have to believe that this is not a good idea. I know it is against the law, and others might view you with prejudice, born of fear. It's got to be hard to conceal completely, and...humorously, it surely would keep you from flying.

Unions aren't all that effective.....I hope you have more than that to fall back on.....

those types of things aren't quick fix you can find yourself in limbo while they sort it all out....

I carry my longsowrd on me all the time Tiger... I often walk to work and back and it is 5 miles through the country. I don't walk that road at 11pm to work unless I am armed. So that takes care of a physical attack!

As far as work related attacks... I filed with the labor board so that they know what is going on. If I get fired and then make another claim with the labor board it will stick. I did it to back myself up against retaliation.

Oh...my....gods...

That is horrific!
sounds like the boss type guy felt you were a threat to his stomping grounds, and when you displayed activity that was opposite to his accusations of you being gay, it pissed him off.

poor baby.... if only you could see the sarcastic expression on my face
Work is for work. Playtime has it's place....elsewhere.

Sounds like the whole lot you worked for was full of rotten apples.
I really hope this works out for you, and that the a$$holes get what they deserve.

Once again the saying 'the bigger they are, the harder they fall' comes into play.

sends you more wishes for good luck and a positive outcome

be careful to only comment on the things you personnally WITNESSED!

majority of what you state here is heresay and rumour....about them all sleeping with each other....so stick to what you know

Iv worked in a work environment which was as bad but not with sexual favours it involved embezzlement, noncompliance with national company policy which put employees at risk amongst other things....

I followed protocols did what I was supposed too....but just got stonewalled....so I contacted our National mananger by sending him personnally my resignation, I couldn't work there anymore I was having panic attacks everytime I put on my uniform as a result of things that had happened, and I had a second job anyway....

it doesn't sound like you have the luxery of another job....

my file with the company is sealed by head office to the point the local office were not even aware of my resignation....due to a request by myself as boney still worked for the company.....

My resignation was 15 pages long detailing only what I had witnessed. I stated that there were rumours that more was going on but I did not include what they were as I could not confirm or deny them which is what I stated in the letter.

a week after they received the letter I received a phone call from head office, they asked me what I wanted them to do, what I had stated in the letter was enough to bring criminal charges on management and other staff members alone....

I told them better the devil you know watch them make sure they do their job properly and get on their backs about it.....next thing I know National management were in town every other week reviewing our local office.....by the end of 3 months Management were told they could leave or be charged.....they had dug up the substance of the rumors which was worse for the company than what I had reported....

management kept changing for about 18months til they finally found a new state manager, who actually knows the previous management who I had reported......they know something happened to put them in the sh*t but they don't know who or what....he new manager went through and one by one removed, forced into retirement, or sacked every single employee who was employed by the company at the time I worked there.....

Boney is lucky he felt the knives in his back his head was waiting on the chopping block for a long time....we are just lucky his employment record was spotless so they couldn't touch him.....thankgod now he is out as they were manufacturing *incidents* in his area's he supervised each time he took leave and trying to pin them on him....

I can't say exactly what happened to me due to signed confidentiality agreements......
