Who wore this armor?

Granted it is not a exact replica because different history books give different accounts. All I can say is that the man who wore this is most likely one of the most well known of all and led one of the most unforgettable campaigns.

Well if I had said "The Crusades" it would have been a dead give-away LOL. I still worded it a little to direct. But history has many variations on knights and their armor's. It can be hard to tell what is what sometimes even if you know what you are looking for.

I wanted to guess somebody else, but the clue you gave about the famous campaigns caused me to reconsider. I thought those might be the lions of England.

I am really proud of myself suddenly!

Hmm, without looking up the heraldry I will venture a guess. The armor appears to be 12th Century or thereabouts. The cross on the shield could denote a Crusader. The emblem is difficult to make out but I am going to guess...

King Richard the Lionhearted.
