Thank you Header

Thank you header…

I wanted to say thank you to a male member who has helped me on numerous occasions with my profile, my blog, and even general ideas and conversations.

I appreciate the comment you made on the advice line today, however the man that posted that question recently said on the magazine that I know nothing at all of what chivalry actually is.

I agree with several of the member’s comments when they say that true gentlemen finish last. After all, I am still a virgin remember. This is because I have high morals and desire a woman instead of numerous women. I am sure that if I was to throw away all my hopes and dreams then I could get sex and a girlfriend a whole lot easier.

I have no intention of changing who I am or what I believe, but I honestly do not picture ever getting a woman like most guys actually can.

I don’t like fighting, and thus I choose my fights very carefully and a lot of women see this as a weakness because they think that I should stand up for myself no matter what. They forget that sometimes the best offense is a solid defense and thus I am seen as something I shouldn’t be seen as.

Women seek more independence today then anything else. I agree with one of the guys when they said that this is killing chivalry. Women have to realize that if they desire a real gentleman then they also need to act like a lady. In today’s society people mature a lot slower and thus puts men out of the picture and allows the boys to gallop free.

Someday a man like me will once again mean something, but I think it will be another 2 or 3 thousand years before women once again desire our knighthood.

Very valid points m'lady. Very safe to say that there are numerous reasons why this has all happened. I have been looking, but I still can not find a historical timeline as to when men changed so much.

well if chivalry is truly dead i think u can blame a society that portrays women as only pieces of meet. once a man is only thinking breasts and vaginas any thought of chivalry pretty much take last place. and unfortunately also thre are so many women nowadays, both younger and older, that are really only out for what they can get from a man. this is the chief complaint from the men that i speak to and why there seems to be so much interest in older woman. chivalrous men are very few and far between. us women have had no choice to become completely independent. and then when a truly chivalrous gentleman comes around thre's always the thought...what does he want of me? all sad but true
