The Internet has done some really bad things for society…
Regardless of all the bad things though I am truly thankful for the ability to shop online…
I come from a small capitol and there isn’t much for selection around here. Heck we don’t even have a McDonalds!
I know the local bookstores are horrible when it comes to prices and never offers sales so being able to get books online has saved me more money then I can possibly actually count.
Martial arts supplies are another thing that I can not buy local to me. Not unless it is through mail-order catalogs and even then that is similar to what the internet offers.
The mail companies are really the ones that have made the break for so many on shopping online now and not always in stores. They deliver so fast that you get the product almost as fast as going out and buying it and you save a ton on the overall purchase total. I think standard delivery is often just as fast as one or two day delivery now though, really all depends on where the shipping center is. Most of them seem pretty local to me though thankfully. Often times when it says 3 to 7 days it arrives in 1 to 2 days.
How many people enjoy the freedom that shopping online has brought?
Myself… I had crowded places and therefore I don’t have to wait in line online. If I walk into a store with my leather armor and sword on I often get stared at like crazy and that just bothers me even more. To many people are judgmental and I would prefer to associate with such people as absolutely little as possible and therefore I grab any opportunity I can to not go near them. I also can't stand stores like Wal-Mart...

I have found similar things demonic...|
Clothing is one of them though...
I prefer Japanese Silk boxers but there are no local places to me to buy them. It even took me almost 3 hours of searching online sites before I found a company that carried them in the USA.

i also love shopping online. books for sure... and i found the BEST shampoo... but i only know one website where i can buy it. it's from India. well: the site is from usa, shampoo from india. i don't usually buy clothes online though as i've found it all too expensive. i'd rather find a pattern and make it myself.|

That "had crowded places" is supposed to be "hate crowded places" but I am not going to edit the blog over such a small error. I am sure most people can figure out what I meant |
