Erotica

Recently I had someone ask me for advice about an erotic piece she had written. I really enjoyed what she wrote, so I hope she does not take offense to me mentioning it.

The most pleasurable things about erotica is detail…

Today, most authors rely on the pictures that are within the books…

A good author does not need pictures!

Writing erotica can be a great expanse into your real life sexual abilities because it puts your mind in the direction of paying attention to the smaller details. These smaller details often come down to foreplay and such…

Learning to do them in words will help you be able to do them and understand them more when you are actually in a real life setting…

They help paint such a powerful picture that the reader can literally become one of the characters…

Now that is going to win you a permanent reader if you can grip them in such a way…

Good phonesex is just as challenging…

It requires wonderful detail so that you do not need a picture to look at.

How does everyone else feel?

Shouldn’t “good” erotica cover great detail?

These details are not just the physical sense, but the emotional thoughts and senses of the characters as well?

And now... I must hurry to class... I hope some people will offer their insight on this subject...

Dear Mystic...completely agree. You should read my blog post entitled: The Sanctity of Erotica. Enjoy your class!
