I appreciate everyone's patience while I sorted out this whole LoveSpell11 vs. LoveSpell50 thing. Because of some scary harassment from another member, I had decided that LoveSpell11 should go dark for a while until this crazy member either lost interest or found another target.

My highly complex moving about and changing handles to such a wildly different one (LOL ) has served its purpose. This person seems to have moved on, or maybe I just no longer care.

Either way, I am killing off LoveSpell50 and resurrecting LoveSpell11. I may not blog quite as actively as I did before, though. My blog seemed to have been the impetus for this member's paranoia.

I'm slowly reinstating my old blog entries and hope to see you over there.

Thanks for bearing with me, and sorry for the confusion.

Feeling Better

Finally I am feeling better. The hives are all but gone. Benadryl helped, but they ended up giving me cortisone pills too. My feet got so swollen I could hardly walk. My eyes swelled up halfway shut. Fun.

It was, they think, an allergic reaction to the Wellbutrin they gave me to help me stop smoking. So I'm still smoking, but not as much. It just isn't as interesting any more.

I still feel a little punchy and weak from being so dopey all last week. But I can finally concentrate again. Of course, all I am concentrating on is sex, but still.

And I now have plans to meet with a special someone next week. I know him from here, but I've never met him before.

This could be fun.

Hooray! Health is good!

The art is a sculpture by Luther Gerlach, Eros and Psyche.

My Trip to the Doctor

So today I went to the doctor to do something about these hives, that are now moving up my body. They are now on my groin, legs, arms, and underarms. There are some moving up into my hairline and scalp. My eyelids are swollen. The bottoms of my feet are swollen.

I called first, and told the nurse what was wrong. She suggested I go into Urgent Care. Great, I thought, something can be done.

This little twit Physician Assitant (PA) told me it wasn't serious, to take Benadryl, and that it will go away. When? I asked. He didn't know. He didn't take any blood, didn't give any injection or write any prescriptions, and had no idea why I was so distressed.

So why did I have to dress (finding the one garment in my closet that has no elastic, no waistband, loose armholes and neckline), drive up there (30 minutes), pay a $10 copay and $5 parking, wait in the room for 30 minutes, when all he was going to say was to go to a drugstore and get an OTC medication?

He could have done that on the phone, the little twit.

The art is Edward Robert Hughes' Heart of Snow.

Hives - Sexy or Not?

As some of you know, I have had a lot of stress lately. The result of this is that I now have hives. They are just on my lower legs at this point, but I know if I can't get the stress under control they will spread. So I am staying in air conditioning, applying soothing lotions, talking to no one, and doing nothing.

No, hives are not contagious. But still, not sexy.

I looked for a mood indicator of "itchy" but the closest I could get was "irritated."

The art is Pierre Bonnard's The Bath.
