Today's word is PLETHORA.
Plethora [pleth*o*ra] n. A superabundance; an excessive amount of number.
Example: In his absence she had earned a plethora of spankings for her punishment.
Interesting i always thought this word was an adjective, that is described something...nope its a noun...but in a way it describes an amount but not a specific amount just a number in general. Instead of saying a "a large number" to use the word you say "a plethora". You learn something new every day and today i learned this.
Have a wonderful evening!
