Alter Egos

“Time is the coin of your life.
It is the only coin you have,
And only you can determine how it will be spent,
Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you.”

Carl Sandburg

I’m not done growing yet ‒ and hope I never am done growing as a person. I want the experience of getting to know someone, of learning their background, life experiences, and what makes them who they are. I feel that shared friendship, mutual trust and respect, genuine liking and attraction are absolute requirements for the level of eroticism and sensuality that I desire. I want to laugh and live and learn………

I find men the most inexplicable and yet fundamentally interesting creatures on earth. I could never be bisexual (no offense please ladies), because I just find men so fascinating. Their quirky ways, their sense of responsibility and role in our society, their vulnerability……

I like the Sandburg quote. You have a very interesting outlook and perspective on life. Sometimes I think that having the soul of a poet is both a blessing and a curse. I want to wish you good luck on your journey and search.

I can tell you how men view you...They treat you with deference and respect, always keeping that professional level of courtesy while secretly fantasizing about ripping your clothes off and satisfying themselves with your body, or lifting your dress up and bending you over a desk, or sitting in their chair while you seductively perform oral sex on them. That is how we men think and feel about a beautiful woman, we daydream about having sex with pretty women, about being desired sexually and being the best lover she has ever had...If you ever see me looking at you with a thoughtful glance, I am definitely imagining how good sex with you could be...

... time is a rare thing indeed... but it is more important to spend it with love... than to waste it looking for love...

... I myself... find women to be the most unique creature on this planet...

... they can have almost anyone they desire... and they know it... where men are only allowed the chance to look and perhaps compliment them for the beauty they posses inside and out... without even the chance to ever get to know them... even if it is as platonic friends... for fear that they would want something more out of said friendship...

... in turn they will never take that chance... knowing somehow that if they allow said man to enter their heart... the fear of having this tender heart broken sends them spiraling away from the very soul that may give them the once in a lifetime friend they are searching for...

... for some of us men... we can wait an entire lifetime for the chance to romance a beautiful creature known as a woman... or spend that entire life wasting what precious time we have on every woman who enters our tiny little world... never really knowing what it's like to look at a woman the way they want us to see them...

.. there are many of us out here sweety... but then you knew that didn't you?...

I thought what she wrote was funny. The kind of woman that I would be able to talk to without having the stigma of being "on". Being a male I find men to be stupid, racist and always searching for the woman and when they find one they are attracted to most of them act like dear caught in a headlight. Relax guys. She's just having fun. Stop staring at the headlights and look at the car, check out the engine and take it for a test drive. You might actually like the way it drives. She likes rear engine cars....that's funny, me too.

Gatttorbait ‒ you bring up a good point, but I don’t think it’s unique to men. We have all wanted to be loved and cared for, and all of us have experienced rejection of some kind. Nobody escapes it, no matter how beautiful, how handsome, how irresistible they might seem.
It seems like someone has hurt you over the platonic friends issue, and I’m sorry for that. I can’t explain it, because I do have many platonic guy friends, and my life is richer for them being in it.

Youllbesurprized ‒ It does get easier when people don’t have to feel “on” all the time ‒ that’s such an artificial feeling. Weird for everybody ‒ you, him.
Although… guys are awfully cute with the ‘deer in the headlights’ look.

I believe it's all about power. Sandburg's poem says it right there. If I believe I have something positive to add to anyone's life what do I care in the end whether they're interested or not? Fearing rejection is natural but you don't surrender your power just because an amazingly desireable person is in your presence.Hopefully, if they're not vapid and vain, it'll be possible to figure out how to get past the exterior and into the substance, the heart of a little girl that still lives in there. So once you get past the deer in the headlight phase then on to the duck phase...Calm and serene on the surface but paddling like crazy underneath. I'll bet the guys in the meeting are happy to have the circumstance to deal with you profesionally...a good way to get to be on an equal level and a little sexual energy in the room is probably much welcomed on whatever level. It's just so sweet that you look at men the way you do...we really do do a lot of good out in the world..thanks for noticing ...I think you're a doll

johnycakes - Yes, you all do a lot of good in the world and some of us do notice. As for power and time, the scariest people to me are those who have decided that they are finished with growing, because if they are, they will likely determine you must be as well.

williamkentcourt - I double as the photographer, which makes it a lot easier to fuss at the model for not getting the pic right, slouching, not paying attention, being
A tripod is a wonderful thing. Thanks for the compliment.

OOHH! you have given so much of encoumiums to male folk I feel like flying without wings. Infact you are right most of the present material world was visualised by men and also built by them.Women have been no less important in the continuum of our species. We are mutually complementary. I think one individual(man) has impressed you so much that you have given a brand to entire male folk. ThanQ.
