Where to start your fitness program

178.5lbs this morning! Yay! Getting closer to my 175 objective.

I don't know what to do today... running uphill sprints? Go for a bike ride? Go to the gym? Arrgh! So many choices!

I'll let you know what I chose later...

Ok! Fitness! Where to start?

First of all, let's keep our focus that this is LONG TERM! No need to rush and go kill ourselves for now. You should also consult your physician before starting a fitness program.

If you haven't done any sports in a year or more and are out of shape, start easy. Your most important thing is to start building your cardio.

You have to start with light cardiovascular exercise. Like walking, easy bike rides or some swimming. Get a heart rate monitor if you can, they are cheap at Walmart. It will tell you how hard you're working out and could avoid injuries. Listen to your body, if you're sweating profusely and you face is red, it's time to ease back. I guess I am saying to be carefull. It's a long term goal remember?

Ok, I decided, I'm off to run some uphill sprints.

See ya!
