That's been my mood of late... for reasons I really can't put my finger on. I've been blaming it on a "quarter-life crisis" (I seem to recall that term becoming popular a couple years ago, I thought it was silly at the time, but now it seems quite plausible) but in reality I think it's just a matter of going through a lot of change in a short time. I usually deal with change by making some sort of physical change, like a new tattoo or piercing, or changing my hair, but I just got a new tat last month, I'm probably not going to get any more piercings any time soon, and I like my hair the way it's been recently. Instead, I started running, or at least a pathetic attempt at becoming a runner. I'm not sure it's working out too well, because another side effect of major change or stress in my life is chain smoking, and it's not exactly compatible with any cardio activity. **sigh** There is just a lot of change in the air, and I'm not really loving all of it.

Change is a natural part of life; it happens to all of us at every age. I've been waiting to go thru my mid-life crisis but I've been waaayy too busy. lol

Running would definitely be a wise alternative to chain smoking...just sayin'

"a pathetic attempt at becoming a runner' ~ That's funny!

change is good....and change is part of life...and with each change, you gain a little more wisdom, I hope ...

It's hard not to feel ANY attempt is pathetic when your SO runs 5 miles like it's a walk in the park, and you're submerged in Army life, where even the most pathetic soldier can do a 2 mile run.

As for change being good, I'm hoping that all of the changes that lie ahead are good, I've gone through so much positive change lately, but it hasn't been easy.
