Honeymoon period

How long does that honeymoon period last in a new relationship? You know, the euphoric, "do no wrong" stage... when does it usually end?
1-3 months
4-6 months
6-12 months
It ends??

Well you see there is an end to it if you find out that the person you married isn't really the person you thought they were, but then again if you find your soul mate and are extremely happy I don't think it really ends for you.

No, Fire, I mean a brand new relationship, not a new marriage.

None of the above. The do no wrong stage from where I sit doesn't exist. I am familiar with those that have these types of relationships though. It is my thought that this time will vary depending upon the parties wants, needs and desires. The ultimate goal is to make it a "Joyful Journey" through-out your time together.

I look forward to reading more.

BAB,
That's an interesting point. I agree to an extent, it isn't REALLY a do no wrong stage, I think even from the start of a relationship you'll find things that you dislike about the person, because no one is perfect, but it seems to me that there is a certain period of time that the "rush" of a new relationship/love is very intense.

It ends about the first time you wake up together, DAMN, my sarcastic side just showed its ugly claws, AGAIN. Seriously, if you look for a reason for that time to end, it'll end sooner than you want. Things will come up, talk about them, otherwise they'll always be there, for you to dwell over. Then your really in trouble, relationship wise.
