a.k.a.

I'm always intrigued by nicknames. I wonder how people originally got their nicknames. Some of the names I've heard over the years have been so out there that I have to believe there's an incredible story behind the name!

I've been called many things, but I've never had a nickname - nothing ever stuck. Is it because I've moved around so much that I basically have had a new group of friends every year? Is time a factor? I don't know.

Sometimes I'm a bit jealous of those with nicknames...

So tell me - Do you have a nickname? Is there a fabulous story behind the name? Please share!

Lol... my nickname was 'the doll', as in a Ken doll.
When I was 19 I was on the beach with my friends. I went for a swim, dove around, but when I came out of the water my hair looked just as combed as when I went in. My best friend started laughing and said, "oh my God, he is a doll!". It stuck with me since.

I never had one that stuck either..well my dad calls me something or other still..cant really say it thought without telling yall my real name lol.
Come to think of it, my grandmother has a sort-of nickname she calls me sometimes. It includes my entire name, though, so I can't share it either! Thanks for stopping by!

"Manierd" is an odd one... My friends had a baby girl back in October. They were calling her "Turkey" before she was even born. Why? I don't know...

Your name makes sense. I'm surprised you used it, seeing as how it came from your ex. It is a good name, though! You are sweet as honey!

So your nickname has become a part of you... Interesting. I'm wondering what the name is, and how it came to be...

That's a pretty good story. Have you found your Barbie Doll yet?

3rdknuckle is a sexual reference to going 3rd knuckle. Fingering a girl. We almost named the band 3rdknuckle
