What about YOUR voice?

Recently I was reading an article out loud to a few friends. One of them made a comment about my voice, and an entire conversation ensued.

Basically they decided that I have a great narration voice, and would also do well with voice-overs. It's nice to know I'll always have a career to fall back on...

What have others said about your voice?

I've actually had a voice decent enough to work as a radio DJ. It's a fun gig, but the money sucks. I've been doing accents and impersonations since I was six. It gets to the point where I slip into a voice without noticing, which can be awkward. One of my dream jobs is to do voice over work for cartoons.

Hello Knot,

I have had some men say that my voice is sultry, soft and sweet. The most unusual comment was made by a man who is a history buff and said that my voice is Cleopatra like with bell like tone...apparently she had a very unique voice which made her very appealing to the male gender.

I've been told I have a "distinctive" voice.

I just make weird voices, nothing special. I am not imaging your voice as sexy.
