What a night...

Of course, that title makes it sound so much more exciting than it was - which is not to say that it wasn't exciting, mind you. Just not THAT exciting.

It did put into my mind a question: Why do we do the things that we do for the people we do them for?

Theory the first: We do the things because we enjoy them. This is probably the healthiest of all possible reasons. And in most cases, I think that this is the one most of us common reasons as well. At least I hope so.

Theory the second: We do the things because we enjoy the people. We think that it will keep them closer, perhaps, or simply that it will make them happy. This is where I generally fall - not something that I'm entirely satisfied with, but it is who I am and I am willing to admit it.

Theory the third: We do the things because we tolerate them. We don't enjoy them. We don't hate them. We just don't see any difference between doing them and not doing them. It doesn't matter.

I know that this can't be all of the reasons. But it's all I can think of right now.

Well . . .

life would be a very long thing if we didn't do something !!!

Personally - I'm hedonist of sorts. I do what the @#$% I like when I like.

Yeah , sure you do son ! sure you do !
