Bitches man, bitches...

The word bitch is not a compliment. It is not an acronym for babe in total control of herself. As cute and adorable it is.

What it does mean is this, you’re a fucking cunt, or it could mean this you are a female dog in heat. It is not a compliment; it does not make you look good in a handle.

It is a put down, and nothing more.

This is for all you sweetbitches with smelly pussy polls, and for all others who think its clever to use the term bitch in a handle.

Now I know, you will say it takes away the power of the person calling you that. My response... No it doesn't, it shows that you agree with the person calling you that. And if you a agree that your a fucking cunt, then I agree too.

Wow, what an asshole I am. What a pompous arrogant fool I must be for posting something like this. Cocky bastard!

Besides I can't get through a whole day with out getting angry at something, if you want a well thought out, and well put reaction....well how bout just a reaction.

WOW.....who pissed in your cereal this morning. There is a HUGE difference between being a Bitch and being a C***........Being a bitch allows you to be heard and it also may describe one as being self motivated, self assured and self confident enough to be called a bitch......without throwing down ripping someones scrotum up over their face........see what I mean??? Do you think we like guys with acronyms for their penis sizes emblazoned on their handle...no but we deal with it.... So, hun, relax...grab another fresh bowl of cereal in the morning and smile...it will be ok......

BINDING

IGNORANCE

CONQUER

HATE

It doesn't get any clearer than that. When I am called a bitch by a man, I have learned to looked past it understand that he is just ignorant. But to be called a bitch in a playful way here in the blogs, as I and some others do, is only playing, nothing more.

Agreeing with Freetime here too! When I am being assertive and self confident, I am called a bitch. It is when I am making MY voice heard. Otherwise, I'm being a "proper lady" who keeps her mouth shut, agreeing with all that everyone says and never expressing her own opinion or point of view. So, by disagreeing with what you are saying, I am a bitch! I find it a good thing and am very proud to be one! -B

Kaliedascope61 replies on 4/3/2006 3:51 pm:
why can't you just say that being and outspoken woman, or a woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind or go after what she wants is just being a woman? Shouldn't bitch be on a insulting level?

Tell us how you *really feel Kali....

It's all about interpretation and how you perceive it to be. Personally, if someone wants to call me a bitch without knowing what I satnd for...fuck them. If I want to refer to myself as a bitch...hey, I will. I call men bitches, too.

I have different meanings for different bitches. It's all in the interpretation.

Just like the word Fuck....it has sooo many different meanings nowadays.

K. I am not one of those women who embrace this. Honestly I don't think any of the women here are embracing it. But what can you do when you are called a bitch on here by men? I tell you one thing though, If a man from this site ever grow the balls to call me a bitch to my face, his motherfucking ass will be wearing my foot up his bitch ass. I promise he will become what he called me.

That is one thing I do not put up with in a face to face encounter, but here on-line you can't do anything but cuss their asses out and go on. We all are aware that a female dog is considered a bitch. I am female but I sure as hell am not a canine. However if I am rubbed wrong, by the time I am pulled off their ass they will think I was a wild dog, or wish I was one.

The word bitch has become synonymous with a woman who is willing to stand up for herself. If people want to call me a bitch for that, so be it. Then I actually DO turn bitch on them. No one calls a man a pompous arrogant bastard when he's assertive. It's a double standard in society.

I don't know what makes people do the things they do. I don't know why women accept the title... that's right, I said accept, of bitch or cunt. Now if there was one huge ass guy calling lil ole me a bitch, yeah he'd get by with it then, but he's gotta go to sleep sometime. You must have missed the 80's. Oh wait you're 31 ... explains it a bit. The first bonafide BITCH in pop culture, and proud to wear the label, and for that matter proceeded to redefine the word as applied to women was Joan Collins of Dynasty. She made BITCH synonymous with a woman of power equal in ruthlessness as any coporate bastard of a man with she had had to lock horns. For this was their labeling of her, and found by embracing it she deflected the name calling revealing the fact they had little more of substance to any argument.

By the mid-80's, this was so fully accepted (at least in Hollywood) that when Diahann Carroll was interviewed on a talk show regarding her upcoming role on Dynasty she famously said "I am glad for this opportunity to become television's first black bitch". The interviewer did not so much as blink an eye.

Right or wrong, an entire generation of women grew up with this as a role model. A bitch became a state of mind, a mood, as well as attitude. Bumper stickers like "life's a bitch then you die" were commonplace in the early 80's. Long gone was the put down. It is used by men to this day to degrade. Brought to new heights in fact in pop music today, women are perhaps embracing it with renewed vigor. Why? Saintlianna gave you the succinct answer.

And as to your response ...

wouldn't it be better it iridicate the word all together? all those words? Embracing something does not make it lose its power, its accepting something as if it were true.

Would it better to eradicate it ... I guess a possibility given how the public use of "retard" has landed several celebrities in hot water. Now we have mentally challenged. Not sure what the substitute for bitch might be though. But tell me, if embracing something makes it true as you state, am I to believe your signing off a subsequent response as "asshole" to mean your truly believe you are one or were you trying to deflect the power of that word by embracing it?

cheers

TTT

PS> If BITCH is giving you headaches, what do you think of Jodie Foster's character, in her latest film, taking being called a "magnificent cunt" as a compliment.
