When Frogs Thaw

originally began as a comment in [post 241388]

as a young child I had a mental cartoon version of myself that was a frog

as an adult I once spent three months at a residential yoga and meditation program in the south of Sweden. And although the tradition this yoga came out of was Tantric there was absolutely no sex of any kind allowed during that period of time. The program began in January and released us back into the regular world in early April. The springtime as the nordic world reawakened from its winter slumber.

(cut to exterior shot of bright "winter into springtime" Swedish forest)

as I walked through the melting glory
of the seductive Swedish springtime thaw
something jumped from the ice ahead of me
looking closer I saw it to be a frog

it still had ice chunks clinging to it

and I wondered how it felt
to have been so locked into the cold
but now to be freed into the warmth and light
from it's icy hibernatorial entombmment

the frog was to my heart as my heart is to my phallus

the frog felt like my phallus
the day it melted its frigid carcass casket
and returned from it's long, dark and frozen season
of hidden hibernation

some future version of myself answered back to me

Psst, hey future self, so when abouts can I expect this so called "springtime for my phallus" to make it's entrance?

Does that mean you are gonna get laid?

Hi PurryKitty,

I do seem to have a much clearer memory of being a child than many that I know.

Did you ever make a showing at the friday night boner, oops loners club last night? I only checked in once but it was dead (flaccid?) but just for kicks I'll check back again tonight.

Miss Ethereal Emeralds axed...

Does that mean you are gonna get laid?

no it means that I've still not been

although, I guess in terms of what that "future self" seems to be implying, at some point the answer will be "yes".

hows it going with you in sticking with that new years resolution?

Remember, there's always that getaway wanton weekend in Santa Barbara that we'll never really get around to if you get overly determined to take care of that.

the cold felt good today, actually (-12 here)
it felt "fresh"..

taking the frozen night air into my lungs - as I walked along
watching the exhale disappear before my eyes
purging out the old.. and feeling the new; become one with me
as it warmed inside

everything was frozen tonight
even my steps, as I could hear each one crush on the ground below..
neighbors stopping asking if I needed a ride..
for it was "to cold" to be outside...
says them

I LOVE THE WINTERS.. must be the antifreeze in my Norwegian blood

I Love the quiet
the beauty
sound asleep

ready to come alive
beneath my stride

Want some French Vanilla Hot Chocolate... ?? Or did you have other ideas on how to warm up?

I knew something (besides my dick) had to be up when I saw your prolificity going straight off the charts.

it reminded me back when I first advertised both yours and Red Devils blogs. You had all this great creative output with a majority of your entries having no comments at all. And at that time I had been under the impression that nobody was looking at my blog. But that gave me a clue that I was looking at myself too critically. As is my habit.

Want some French Vanilla Hot Chocolate... ?? Or did you have other ideas on how to warm up?

I'm a sucker for hot chocolate. Other Ideas? You know me well enough now to know that my mind is always a complete void when it comes to ideas.

uhuh -- i was totally repulsed by frogs as a child -- we had these huge ones in the garden pond that together made a croaking racket that sound like machine guns rattling, keeping us awake at night. i remember this one time i was sitting in the lounge watching tv, when my dad came in and put something on the arm of the chair next to me, which i thought was a frog. i leapt out of my seat screaming, then saw it was only a frog-shaped rock...!

I see you are slowly coming back, I am happy and can not wait to see you in full.
As for your Frog analogy, I will just say that in that scenario, it has been a long frozen winter for me.

Hey feelove,

I wouldn't have guessed you to be uncomfortable with amphibians but even top psychics often have clairvoyant blocks on that particulart trait.

I'd like to hear that barrage of machine gun croaking some day that you mentioned.

Hi again MISS_KINK,

That's surprising news that you too have been like a frozen frog of the winter.

Mine got buried a bit too deep and has been sunk into it for a few years now but there's some chance it'll see the light of day this year.

Ever see clusters of frog eggs in a clear mountain pond?

Almost somewhat reminiscent of a colorless tapioca pudding.
