Them Krazy 12th Century Romantic Troubadours

the pain of love is the pain of life

to not have felt it is to not have yet fully lived

To balance this regurgitation inducing dose of cheeseball, sentimental hallmarkititus from the times of the wandering romantic troubadours of the middle ages I must also add this tidbit of counterpoint...

better to have driven off a cliff then to never have driven at all

(huh huh, she said crushed nuts)
High Oh Worshipped One,

I'm not certain if I've ever really tried one those kinds of cheeseballs. I usually see them at holiday partys but how do you approach and attack the thing for eating? They don't sort of smash up easily and kind of become a cheese cracker dip do they?

Now I've got myself cheese hungry as well.

Also cheese supposedly gives you the reverse of 'Diarrhea Cha Cha Cha' if you eat in it large enough quantities. I would guess that if you really wanted to bake a big brick in your posterior that washing down the jumbo cheese load with some straight vodka (or other hard liquor of your choice) would serve you quite well. It's dehydrational qualities would be working for you in that regard and should really help to rock you up a major, rager block.

I learned that in my Geomorphology of the Anal Cavity 101 course back in my undergrad years.

Hi Corezon,

I initially thought this word might be a so callled "onomatopoeia" and googled it and this stuff came right up.

Onomatopoeia is a word that imitates the sound it represents.
also imitative harmony

splash, wow, gush, kerplunk

words in this group are those whose origins are indicated as "imitative" by Webster's Third New International Dictionary. You might have heard such words called "onomatopoeic words" or "mimetic words" or "echoic words." Words of this origin sometimes appear on Scripps National Spelling Bee word lists. Examples are chiffchaff, giggle, guffaw, harrumph, hooroosh, huff, kerplunk, kyoodle, racket, squelch, tiralee, whiff, whippoorwill, womp, and whimper. Many birds have onomatopoeic names, for obvious reasons.

Such devices bring out the full flavor of words. Comparison and association are sometimes strengthened by syllables which imitate or reproduce the sounds they describe. When this occurs, it is called onomatopoeia (a Greek word meaning name-making "), for the sounds literally make the meaning in such words as "buzz," "crash," "whirr," "clang" "hiss," "purr," "squeak," "mumble," "hush," "boom."

Ha! Yes, that's right up there with "what does not kill me makes me stronger."

I expect old Joshu never really experienced life because he never fell in love.

Consider yourself tagged, Mister - the blogger's equivalent of the chain letter. You can break the chain, but the consequences may be terrible!!

You must to tell us 6 things about you that are in some way unusual or noteworthy.

Then you are supposed to pass this on to 6 other bloggers. They will be glad to have the topic to write about, I fancy.

You've been Tagged!!! Being tagged means that if you wish to play you share in your blog six items (oddities - weird habits - etc.) about you and then you tag six other bloggers to do the same. Here is the link to my post as a result of being tagged [post 283756] . I hope you play and have fun!!!

P.s. Seems I'm not the only one to tag you. LOL! At least you know you're well thought of! Have fun sweetie!!!
