I wish I were honest enough to admit all my shortcomings.
* brilliant enough to accept flattery without making me arrogant;
*tall enough to tower above deceit;
*strong enough to treasure love;
*brave enough to accept criticism;
*compassionate enough to understand human frailities;
*wise enough to recognize my mistakes;
*humble enough to appreciate greatness;
*staunch enough to stand by my friends;
*human enough to be thoughtful of my neighbor;
*and righteous enough to be devoted to the love of God.

I don't know about you all but if I made a list of my shortcomings it would stretch around the block. Good thing though I am willing to admit them and work on making them strengths.

We all have many short comings... and I am not saying we shouldn't work to improve ourselves. But I find people often spend too much time worry about what is wrong... and not enough time focused on the many things that are right about us... and using them to our full advantage. It is a great quote. Just don't forget in all of it... that you are likely a very capable and wonderful person. You are strong even as you are.|
