The Love Quiz

If some of you can't already tell I am a hopeless romantic and for the right kinda guy I could be a freak in the sheets. But I have spent my entire lifetime it seems searching for a love that has been elusive to say the least.
I have read every book published it seems and still can't find what I seek. But I am a big fan of Leo Buscaglia I think of him as the love guru.
Anyway in his book Reflections on Loving he has a love quiz and I thought I would share it with you because it seems we could all use a refresher course at times.
"Asking yourself questions and answering them honestly is a good path to self-knowledge. In keeping with this idea, I'd like to propose a few end of the day questions for each of us.
*Is anyone a little happier because I came along?
*Did I leave any concrete evidence of my kindness, any sign of my love?
*Did I try to think of someone I know in a more positive light?
*Did I help someone to feel joy, to laugh, or at least, to smile?
*Have I attempted to remove a little rust that is corroding my relationships?
*Have I gone through the day without fretting over what I don't have and celebrating the things I do have?
*Have I forgiven others for being less than perfect?
*Have I forgiven myself?
*Have I learned something new about life, living, or love?
If you are not satisfied with your answers, take heart. Tomorrow you get to start all over again! If you will it, this is one quiz you will never fail."
It seems to me we could all use more love and less hate and less racism and less violence in our lives.
Go out and find someone to love today even if you don't have sex with that person just go make someone smile.

Hmmm. Perhaps the problem is the books that you are reading are making you change yourself, and removing that bit of individuality that your someone special is looking for?

I agree. I think that while people today are more open about issues with black/white dating, gay marriage, and so forth, there are still some that hate these people. Hate consumes people until they are nothing more than ignorance. Let's hope poeple get your message and change things.

I wholeheartedly agree! We could use a lot more love and tolerance in this world. I make people smile everyday regardless of how I feel because seeing their smiles makes me feel that much better. I tell everyone they should find a reason to smile everyday! I hope the elusive love you seek finds you and makes you happy.
Stay well, One love and God bless!

Leo Buscaglia is an incredible man. He's also one of my favorites. Excellent selection to include in your blog! Hope you do exactly what you've shared...find someone who could use the gift of a smile and the hope of an extended hand. Have a great day!

Not so nights I am just as much an individual as you are or anyone else for that matter but I have definite beliefs about what love is and isn't from my past experiences.
