Let the good times roll

I was just down in Geneseo recently and foudn myself in a conversation with a bright and beautiful woman. Unfortunately she is a "friend" of my most recent ex. This causes a dilema for her that she cannot avoid. If only there were a way to keep my ex from interfering. She lost me by her own actions and shoudl know that her betrayal hurt me deeply. She only saw her point of view. She decided that however deeply I cared for her hurting me was the only way to end our relationship. I can't stand that I keep getting into relationships with immature women. Love is not an easy thing to find in this world. How those that have it can let it go I will never understand. I am not an arrogant man or a vain man, so when I hear her "friends" say that I can do better, or what was I thinking it hurts even more. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and hers was the only beauty I saw. Now I feel sick when I think about her. Not her physically, but about how much I loved her and how she threw that away. Perhaps it was never meant to be but it never felt that way to me.

Geneseo, eh? Home of the Green Machine?

Best of luck in all you seek here.

It's true- happiness is so rare and hard to find- that when the opportunity comes up it's hard to believe someone would let it go. God knows it's not easy- but what is? I truly believe that there is a reason for certain people to come into our lives- usually in hindsight is when we actually see it. sometimes it's a lesson learned, sometimes a heart touched or broken, sometimes just a good time but usually a reason none the less. It's up to us to let time play out and make sure we don't miss anything along the way.
