to snip or not to snip

Hey all,

Just looking for a little feed back for getting a vasectomy?

You see, I am 42, a widower and have two small boys. I am unsure if I want more children at my age or at this time in my life, but am also concerned that the woman I will eventually find would like to have a child between us. I know there is a surgery that one can have and have it reversed, but would it not also make it easier on the woman in terms of contraception? Let me know your thoughts...

A male's surgery for that is much more easier to reverse, if wanted, later; it is a fairly easy procedure as well {especially compared to not having to go into the body as with a female}. Yes, it would make it easier for the female in regards to contraception...but remember, there is a waiting period after the procedure where the male can still impregnate a female; a doctor can give you more exact details {and after it's done, they will check sperm count and so forth to be absolutely sure}.

Welcome to the blogs! You still need to use condoms in your casual sexual encounters. And if you meet a woman who knocks your socks off and wants to get married....she may want children. Sure, it is possible to reverse a vasectomy.....it isn't 100%.....and it is surgery! I hope you'll stop by my blog sometime and say hello!

You are so young still and as you said what if the woman in your future is much younger and want to have a child with you?
It is more a question of can you emotionally and financially handle another child along with the two beautiful boys you have.
If the answer is Yes then don't snip...
Good luck in your search!!!
