I was wondering, how does one tell someone that they are not sexually attracted to that person, but values there friendship. I know in my life I have encountered women who I thought I was sexually attracted to, but found out that I wasn't. I have always found it hard to express this to a person without hurting their feelings.

What does one do instead of telling them. I suspect that we don't call that person back nor do we make anymore plans to meet. But wouldn't that make a person wonder and think. Maybe it would hurt their ego's or self esteem, or possibly they would begin to develop an anger towards you and other men. So how does one get out of this situation without adding insult to injury.

I do believe in the direct approach to communication, but sometimes it does not work. The truth can be so hard to hear, yet I would prefer to hear it sooner than later. I hate to learn stuff later when I could have fixed it sooner. So my question still stands, how does one tell another that they like them but not in a sexual way....
Strange coming from a guy HUh?

Hey all,

Just looking for a little feed back for getting a vasectomy?

You see, I am 42, a widower and have two small boys. I am unsure if I want more at my age or at this time in my life, but am also concerned that the woman I will eventually find would like to have a between us. I know there is a surgery that one can have and have it reversed, but would it not also make it easier on the woman in terms of contraception? Let me know your thoughts...

Hey can someone tell me why it is that when I check the woman looking for men section, I always seem to come across a female who is looking for a man, but is attached? Wouldn't that make them a couple? Please correct me if I am wrong, but am I missing the point?

Its not that I have anything against that, just don't understand why people do that? HHmm maybe it gets more responses that way?
