I am a member on AdultFriendFinder and have been for several months. I have had many wonderful experiences meeting people, and some not so memorable experiences. However one thing seems to be a reoccurring theme: Every single person has portrayed themselves in one certain way, and then when you have invested some time chatting, then met them in person, you discover they are not all they portrayed. Perhaps they intentionally with hold some information or perhaps they do it unintentionally thinking that it might not be a big deal. Whatever the reason, it usually comes out in the end, so why don't people just be honest from the beginning...

Honesty doesn't guarantee that everyone will like you or find you attractive or get you laid.

So, why not build the person you think everyone will like? Why not "Budweiser" themselves?

What I mean by that is Budweiser is apparently thee most popularly drunk beer in the world. IN THE WORLD!! How the hell do you do that?!

Well, they will tell you that they have created a "taste" that is most palitable for most anyone around the globe--who drink beer.

Ain't that some shit? The funny reality is that Budweiser is not a great tasting beer and most cats who drink it will tell you the same. It's fine.. it's easy etc..

I think when you try to cator to all of the on-line masses, you dilute your identity. "I gotta have a little something for everyone."

Then where is the uniquity in who you are?

I found myself doing that when I first started to build my profile and I had to stop and start again, making sure I wasn't deleting my true self. The reality is that not everyone is going to be attracted to you or even like you. That hurts though. And being an Aries, we're supposed to be overly concerned with how people preceive us.
