Cigarette's and Gum

It's been three days since I had a cigarette. The craving is still there. How tempting it would be to light one up right now... but I'm not going to do it.

Smoking is an easy hobby. It's expensive, but it's easy to do. There's plenty of opportunity to practice too. But unlike a hobby like songwriting or karate, smoking was killing me. And from what I've heard, death just isn't all that exciting.

I thought about taking up cooking as a hobby, but that wouldn't help create a "bad boy" image.
Maybe I could take up something like rabid bull wrestling, deep sea sky diving, or something like that. It would give me that same cigarette rush...and it's non fattening.

Any tips on how you quit smoking? (If you did)

Actually, I wonder if they have an "in" with nicorette. They probably make nicorette out of cigarettes that just don't pass the audtion. "We're sorry... you're just not Marlboro material. Perhaps Nicorette will have an opening."

Another thing that pisses me off is that those freaking nicorette packs are hard to open. When I wanted a smoke, all I had to do was reach into the pack, pull out a smoke, and there I was. With nicorette, you have to tear off a tiny corner of half inch piece of tinfoil. It doesn't just "pop" out. You have to work for it.. biatch.

I was reading the Marlboro catalog. I'm trying to get them to send me a masseuse with all my points. It's their way of saying "Thanks for smoking, come again!"
