Disintegration of hope

dis戢p搆oint搪d
adj.
Thwarted in hope, desire, or expectation.

I am so frustrated and disappointed right now, I honestly don't even know where to start.

I was told tonight that I am too passionate. TOO PASSIONATE? Is there such a thing?

Perhaps I am "too passionate", but that is who I am. I never claimed to be anything else. I can't be anyone else!

What do you do when passionless collides with passionate? It looks like they negate one another from where I'm standing...and thus begets STANGNANCY.

I am angry, so bitter and unhappy. I can do nothing but shake my head in wonder and paralyzing dismay at the fact that once again...I talked myself into hope. What the fuck. When does a girl learn a lesson?

So...assuming that I am "too passionate" and that I am unable to find a passionate counterpart...again I must ask...

What do I do with my time?

I don't have a lot of it, but the moments I have, I want to share with someone that wants to share with me. I don't want to fight against one...more...person...

I am too tired. And I am so disappointed. I think that's worse than being hurt.

anybody who says you are "too" anything is a judgemental fuck, trying to leave you without sure footing and probably for their own ends. and yet i know it's impossible not to let such things bug you.... do some reaffirmations -- you know damn well passionate is a good thing! yes, finding someone to share it with is tough. i have the same problem!

Too passionate? What the hell kind of comment is that and how can someone be too passionate. Most of us are looking for more passion in our relationships, sex, our lives in general. Only a compleate jackass would make a comment like that or someone not worht of the passion you are giving.

Too passionate, or too horny...or too "clingy"?

Besides, if/until you meet a man who can raise your body temperature to 103 degrees F in the wintertime and keep it there for hours BEFORE he even mounts you, and keep you buzzing for at least three full days while he enjoys the union as well, a man who shares love and not manipulates or be a control freak...you likely will feel unsatisfied.

I speak from experience, not bravado.

Fighting is a waste of time and - more importantly - energy ('lots of heat, no light').

We can not change other paople - and should never try to change ourselves (since it is against one's own nature). Exception: learning to adapt, but only when the relationship is actually worth it, i.e. whern there is an 'us', not just 'you' and 'me'. And then it has to be even, mutual and ballanced - otherwise the relationship has no future.

"Too passionate" ?! Only dead people are free of passion.

NV: nicest of possible compliments - thanks

I find other people far more interesting than myself. That may explain the nature of my replies - and of my own blog, for what its worth.
