Some questions after 24 hours here...

Just some stuff I ponder... maybe some of these are answered in the Magazine section.

1. When people have friends in their network, does it (likely) mean they've slept with those people? This is a sex oriented site, but 'just friends' isn't too far fetched either...

2. Is there a 'double standard' between men and women on this site, i.e. does a woman perhaps pay less (or anything at all) to send email? So If I get a wink from a 'standard' level woman, is that a 'please write me' or nothing more than a wink?

3. I wonder what it's like to be one of the most popular bloggers or members here, does that mean a pick of the cream of the crop, or is it just as tough to find a partner as ever?

4. Just eyeballing it, men outnumber women
10-1. Not only that, but not all of those women are even looking for men... Though I suppose the same could be said of the guys. Is this then hard on women.. they probably get so much attention it could be overwhelming, and maybe that right guy gets lost in the noise?

5. Even with the dearth of choices, seems like it gets even worse, cuz there are many profiles with dark or grainy pictures, or amazingly sparse and uninteresting text to go along. Are the 'fuck me suck me' one liners even real women?

Just questions, maybe there are no good answers, or even worth trying to figure out, but I'll post more as I come up with them.

It doesnt even mean they have met them, they just join networks to see each others pics. A testimonial doesn't even mean they have met. I have 4,000+ in my network and on an old profile I had 16,500+ other women have more, there wouldnt be the time in the day to fuck all these people and considering some are on other side of the world it's jsut a silly thought.

It could be a please write me or it could be a profile flag. The way to the most popular list is through the profile views ad if ya wink people click your profile. I think if they ain't within realistic travelling distance they ain't looking to meet, perhaps they cyber though

Having been number two most popular member in the past I would say it opens you up to more abuse. It is a false glory cos all it means is that you have flagged your profile more than others. No you don't get more action cos most of the people are at the other side of the world again.

Yep more men than women and some of the women might not even be women could be weirdo's pretending to be women. Some men are just good old fashioned flashers who only wanna show ya their dick on cam...could go to the park for that, lol

Another way to flag your profile is to say stuff that ain't true. I believe some people are up for it, but doubt very much if its as many as it seems. Grainy pictures are used mainly to protect yourself when you are in the mall or in town with yer kids, makes it hard to spot ya and recognise you. Plus they seem to lose quality in the transfer to the site. Good clear porn pics are most probably from porn models with pay sites usually accompanied by pretty faces, beware. Look for normal pics for real people

The easiest way to get on the most popular list is to leave your browser on at all times in several chatrooms at the same time, this is false popularity it just means more people have seen ya

Bye everyone, it was a blast

So from those comments, the real 'currency' here on AdultFriendFinder is profile-views, but it can be a double edge sword... interesting
