Recording, stress, and blow up donkeys

Greetings. First post on this blog, woooo. Hopefully someone can get some enjoyment out of this.

Background info: I play bass in a band, and through some networking a friend offered to record one of our songs in his studio. Spent monday night doing the drums, last night the guitar(and eventually the bass since the guitarist was too stressed playing the song just to the drums). It helped, but nothing that we deemed good enough. I came close to getting the bass down in the first couple of takes, but a couple of the notes near the end of the song sounded bad, even though I hit the correct note. Changed it. By then it was just after midnight(started at around 8pm with numerous breaks trying to get some issues sorted out). Lots of coffee was brewed as the night wore on, but our nerves were shot and our playing started going south(unfortunately, not the good south).

So on the way home I decided that the mood needed to be lightened up since we are usually in a good mood around each other regardless. Jokes usually fly, and there is a sense of general camaraderie(this has too many vowels. I don't think I like spelling it). ANyways, I stopped off at a sex shop on the way home and asked the clerk if they had any inflatable barnyard animals. He points behind him, I decide on the donkey, since its the only one there that makes noise.

What is going to occur, is I am going to arrive several minutes early for recording, get the producer to set up a mic in the spare iso booth, put the donkey in there, and after a couple of worthless takes I am going to say "fuck this. I'm gunna go fuck a donkey", enter the room, make some sex noises, then make donkey noises.

This ended up being way too long. And for that I appologize, I have a way of rambling on about stuff.

Oh, and I am experiencing dizzy spells recently and have a constant feeling of passing out. Sucks, but I should be fine with an excellent nights rest.

Gee, I'm worried about your health. Is there any chance you can get things checked out by your doctor?

I realize you are young and at your age, you probably will not. Tell you what - at the sake of sounding like an old mother hen, stop by my blog and leave a quick note so I know you are all right.
