Adam Ant was great. Although I liked his hit much later in his career "Wonderful."
Blondie! Even though Debbie is getting up there in age, and gravity hasn't been kind, I'd still kiss her in the back of CBGB's.
Bowie is great! I like "Man Who Sold The World" and "Modern Love" the best.
Human League had their go at it, but I think they were much more popular in the UK than the US.
Heaven 17? What planet are you from

I'm actually a bigger fan of 80's new wave than I am of hair bands and metal. I just came across the blog above playlist on my iTunes this morning and played it while I worked on my book.

Shaye--I dressed like Billy Idol in the Rebel Yell days (I'm glad no pictures survived). I went to a Joan Jett concert (I actually touched her knee because I was front stage and on a friend's shoulders).

Amber--Star Trekken? You weirdo

..joan jett... yes

but...most of mine i'm not even going to bother remembering. i know it had to do with....whinin...cryin and some kind of western
now all the old ...old western is good to me.
in fact now is my life.
ask me about the other that's music.

Nothing is ever the same... when it comes to pleasures.

with a hint....the erotic senses will manifest into an abounding mess of flesh

the mind needs fulfillment of the body

if it feels good is good

I've done it again...*S*

Susie--my list is a select list that a narrow sub pop listened to. Like I stated above, I was really more into new wave. I just happened to come across a compilation of the hair bands on my iTunes today.
