Why do we do what we do when we do what we did?

I have been playing around in my blog with various approaches to writing - light humor, heavy satire (see She Lied!), sex stories, angry editorial...and that is most of the fun of blogging for me. Every time I start writing, something different shows up on the screen - and usually not what I set out to write.

I was just telling a friend that I remember reading an interview with some musician (think it was Paul McCartney - no snide comments there) who has written two or three songs a day for nearly fifty years. Most are never seen by anyone - but it keeps the creative process alive. I think that's why I write so many posts. If I write enough, something that isn't c**p is just bound to show upon that screen eventually.

Feedback time - why do you blog?
