Those conflicting medical studies.

Girltalk ~ ~ ~ Guytalk ~ ~ ~Alltalk

For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting medical studies.

1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

4. The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

CONCLUSION:

Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

Now I know I have to leave this country again! Living here will kill you apparently. Do you think it might have anything to do with our obsessive behavior?

Hi canyaz;
I think that that is the line being fed to us..."our obsessive behavior" to lead us to feel responsible for what we have no control over. I think the big difference between us and other countries is the insatiable greed. We have known for years that the cattle and pigs and chickens are being feed chemicals to make them bigger and fatter for an increased profit. Now that the population has been ingesting these products for years and becomming obsese no one seems to make the connection. Instead of looking at the food source as the cause and limit the altering of nature, we are supposed to take the blame and make the sacrifices so that the profits can continue.

I couldn't agree more. I believe there is an even bigger conspiracy at hand involving the insurance industry as well. It is a little strange when they would rather see you die than try to help get you healthy. Why are Insurance companies not paying for preventatives? Like gym memberships, with a decreased premium if you are at a normal weight. or stop smoking classes and for every week you don't smoke, you get $ off the premium. I could go on but it is early and I need more coffee....

Hi canyaz;
Thank you for your comments. There are signs conspiracy every where-all of which seems to indicate corporate greed at the cost of humanity. Our government has sold out the best interest of the people for the campaign funds they receive. And I am not just finger pointing at one political party-most have indulged have have been corrupted. An honest polititian could not survive in the current enviornment. In voting I do not see my vote as choosing who will do the most good while in office, but rather who will do the least harm-the lesser of the evils. We need a hero-but no one dares to be one.
