Feelings, whoa whoa whoa, feelings!

Getting your heart broken is never fun. If it was there would be a professional league of sports franchises made up of men and women who would meet each other and grow to like each other and then be ripped apart for the enjoyment of tv viewers at home. (Wow that was a long sentence) But nobody wants to see that, because getting your heart broken is not fun. Now I'm not going to go into the details of my own recent bout with heartus brokenupus but I will say that it has to do with open relationships and friends with benefits. Having a friend is a good thing. Having a friend with benefits is even better, hence the benefits.(Try to keep up here) Relationships are good. But what happens when one person decides to change the rules on the other? Not good. Not good at all. Feelings and emotions are complex. Some people would rather have relationships with no feelings, we call these people robots. It is nearly impossible to have a relationship with someone without feeling something.(Disgust is also a feeling) So, if you have a relationship with feelings and are open to other relationships with feelings there are going to be a lot of feelings flying around. And when feelings are flying sometimes they collide. And what happens when feelings collide? That's right, hurt feelings. And how does that feel? Not good. Very not good. But what can you do? If you have feelings for someone and they have feelings for you but the person you have feelings for has feelings for another who feels the same way as that person but has developed hurt feelings towards you and the person you have feelings for feels the pressure of the hurt feelings for you then your feelings get hurt for the person you have feelings for feeling upset because of the bad feelings. Do you feel me? Bottom line. Feelings are great as long as everyone feels the same way, but as soon as someones feelings change there can only be hurt feelings for everyone involved. Especially if those feelings run silent and run deep.
I don't know about you, but I feel hungry.
