I just read your whole blog. The fact that you're not getting laid all the time is beyond me. I think guys should read your profile and then move on to your blog. Hell, I want to have sex with you! You sound like my wife. Just reminds me why I married her. I wish you luck in your adventures. Enjoy and be safe.

Great list. But I gotta ask... Starland Vocal Band? Never made out with anyone, although I talked to Henry Rollins for like a half hour before a Rollins band show. He needs to lay off the caffeine, he nearly broke my hand when he shook it.
And the JoBoxers? ("Don't put another dime in the jukebox, I don't wanna hear that song no more"- I love that song) Mark Mothersbaugh is a weirdo, besides DEVO, he does the music for Rugrats and all kinds of specials for Animal planet and the History channel.

My list: Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Rush, REM, Sonic Youth, Midnight Oil, Faith No More, Helmet, Dinosaur jr, Pavement, Replacements, Paul Westerberg, Husker Du, Bob Mould, Black Flag, Rollins Band, Bad Brains, Superchunk, Mudhoney, Bad Religion, Gin Blossoms, Alex Chilton, Red House Painters, American Music Club, Boo Radleys, The Tommy Shaw band, Hunters and Collectors, Down by Law, I saw Nirvana opening for Sonic Youth in 89/90 at the Trocadero in Philly, and saw Green Day at City Gardens in Trenton in 92 with 3 other nobody punk bands. Probably a lot of opening acts I can't remember.

Lol GuitarLord , gawd yes ....bacon too!

On your advice I detoured over here to see your list First. ( or did I do that second? ) hmmmm, oops careful keith!

Your list reminded me of the Kinks concert I saw in Knoxville, Tn. the summer they had the World's Fair there. Loverboy was the opening act. I remember that lead singer strutting around. He was pretty good at the strutting part but his singing sucked!

Hmmm, come to think of it the Kinks stunk too. Maybe they were too old by then or something. Must have been '81 or so. At least the tickets were free for that one. ( I won them from a radio station when I spent a summer there )

I am unfamiliar with many the acts mentioned above by man4nooners1 and [blog xesential] . I am out of the "loop" since I am older and set in my tastes. They sure have changed over the years.

They broadened.

Upon further review... You are right Firsttime. A band called "the Flirts" did the song I memtioned. They both were on a compilation I have. I shoulda done my research, lol. And I did know Starland Vocal Band did "Afternoon Delight", It just seemed to jump out at me from your list.
