Poison (not the band)

So I called my dad for father's day...the poor guy has had a recent run-in with either poison oak or poison sumac...he seems to be sure it wasn't poison ivy. He still does yardwork every weekend and his yard doesn't seem to like him.
I got poison ivy when I was a kid at camp. Itched like hell. It was worse than the chicken pox. I remember looking like the Pink Panther with the topical benadryl all over me. That sucked.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there

Has anyone else had any similar, miserable experiences?

... his yard doesn't seem to like him. They need to work on this relationship, don't you think? I believe there are now therapists, who specialize in this field. They'll even come out to your home, which is very convenient. It's often difficult to fit your yard into your vehicle and take it to the therapist. Depends on the size of the yard, I suppose.

lol zebra...you really do have a way with words. I'll direct him to the nearest and best yard therapist I can find...Sigmund Frond perhaps.

Shingles, omg!!! I had it all across my back, my chest, and under my arms, and I near scratched myself short a few pints of life's liquid!

Maybe that's why my boobs didn't grow for the longest time, huh? LOL
