What can I get for my soul?

I was living life on the low key side tonight: watching The Simpsons. It was an episode I hadn't seen before. Bart sold his soul to Millhouse for $5.

It got me to thinking. What could I get for my soul? Who would want to buy it? Why would they want it? What would they do with it?

So as everyone reads through some of my more banal thoughts such as what polyester treat my daughter has purchased for me, or reading the crude and wonderfully tasteless poem I found, please, take some time to weigh in on this.

Fallic ~ The one thing I would never consider selling is my soul, though others have tried to steal it for a long time. *soft smile* Now if we're talking about soulful companionship ... or a piece of your heart ... those are different matters. Blessings ~ Safira (anam cara in the making)

You'd never sell your soul. To sell your soul would be to lose all and you have much to lose. Our souls are what tie us to the universe and without them there is nothing but a black void. Yuk. You're much too warm a soul to live there.

I make mistakes, I am out of control & at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best. ~Marilyn

Hmmmm...intriguing. I think Bart should've negotiated some.

The correct answer would be that I wouldn't sell my soul. That, however, is not the fun answer. So...being cyberspace and all, I'd rather go for fun. But I do want to control WHO I can sell it to, as she's already got my heart.

I...would sell her my soul for a bottle of Montrachet 1978 from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and the promise of her love, trust, and companionship for a lifetime.

Not too much to ask...I think

Sil, I know the truth. It'll e keot in an old jar by the bedside and you'll force me to dance as your monkey boy at your whim and caprice.

Thank you for the Christmas wish. A Happy Christmas to you and a great new year. The girls and I had a great Christmas day together
