The Legend of 1900

This is one of my two or three favourite movies. I watch it regularly on IFC and I will probably purchase a copy. Like many favourite films, it is not a film that was a huge box office smash.

I found it to be an incredible allegory for the jazz age and it's deeper meanings. There is one scene in the movie that is my favourite scene in any movie. I cannot say any more than it is one of the most brilliant and surreal pieces of work I have come across.

The film stars Tim Roth as 1900. He is one of the most under-appreciated actors in the world. He spends most of his time on smaller, independent movies.

I would love to hear if other people have seen this film and if they found it to be as profound and as moving as I did.

And since I have another week of vacation, I am looking for some really interesting underground movies to watch: I am big budgeted out right now after seeing War of the Worlds, Batman Begins, and Fantastic 4 in close proximity to each other.

I am not much of a movie goer as it is not much fun going to the movies alone.

Have you ever seen "Eraserhead"?
