Simple math

I was perusing the blog of [blog mzhunyhole] (the sexiest 54 year old that I know of) and she had lined up a list about herself working down the alphabet: brilliant stuff.

Now I work in numbers so I have adapted this format to work in my medium - but in a very simplified format since it is the weekend. Here are the math problems.

*****************************************************************

0 = 6 - 6

1 = 5 - 4

2 = 7 - 5

3 = 3 - 0

4 = 12 - 8

5 = 41 - 36

6 = 3 + 3

7 = 14 - 7

8 = 9 - 1

9 = 1 + 2 + 3 + 3

10 = 5 x 2

****************************************************************

The relevance of each equation will be revealed in the comments.

Try this as a homework assignment this weekend and see how the numbers stack up.

0 = 6 - 6 In my life I have had 6 jobs. I have either been fired, laid off or quit all 6 jobs. I have never given my notice and served it out. As to what this says about me?

1 = 5 - 4 I have had 5 serious lovers but 4 of them failed to satisfy me sexually.

2 = 7 - 5 I have visited 5 of the 7 continents. The only two continents that I not been to at least one country in are Oceania and Antarctica.

3 = 3 - 0 I have 3 major sexual fantasies and I have yet to fulfill any of them. I might answer the question of what they are in private.

4 = 12 - 8 I had 12 bills that I paid monthly at the start of this year and I have paid off 8 of them since January. I plan on being debt free by next June

5 = 41 - 36 I am 41 until next Monday. I have played club soccer in 36 of those 41 years. My ages that I didn't play in were 1,2,3,22 and 39. I started playing competitively when I was 4. I missed 18 months when I tore apart my knee when I was 21 and I managed to retire for 18 months.

6 = 3 + 3 3 sports teams I love and 3 that I hate. I love the Oakland Raiders - I am a card carrying member of the RaiderNation. I hate the Dallas Cowboys - I stepped off of a plane in this country and my father said "son, you can either be a Raider fan or a Cowboy fan". I chose not to walk home and became a Raider fan.

I loathe, despise and abhorr the Portland Trailblazers and I do not really follow any other NBA team.

I do love the Detroit Red Wings: one day I will make it to the "Joe" for a game.

The Oregon Ducks make me vomit - I am a Wazzuu Cougar and damn proud of it - Duck fans are the most reviled in the Pac 10 and rightfully so.

I love the New York Yankees - everything about them is larger than life. Far from being bad for baseball they are the best thing for it.

7 = 14- 7 The sum of the soccer number I let my daughter have (14) less the number I took (7). No-one glamorous in soccer has #14 but I have worn it since I was a freshman in high school and it was always a stipulation of signing with a team. Many great players have worn 7 (ever heard of David Beckham?) but I don't like wearing it.

8 = 9 - 1 The number of lives I would have if I was a cat. I had a near death experience fishing when I fell of a ledge into a deep river and nearly drowned. I do not know how I got out of the water but I did.

9 = 1 + 2 + 3 + 3 The broken bones from soccer. 1 broken leg, 2 broken arms, 3 broken ankles, 3 broken feet

10 = 5 x 2 Five salmon trips this year and I have caught the limit of 2 salmon each trip. Also, it could be for the 10 fish that I can still catch this year since 10 = 20 - 10.

I'm dying of curiosity to know the fantasies... and why only one lover ever satisfied you.

Hey, GREAT NEWS! (you can blow off the remaining time on your job and come to the convention)

saintlianna - 36 is indeed correct. I still played partial seasons when I tore my knee apart and when I retired. I was 21 when I went in to a tackle designed to fuck up the other player.

Only problem was I missed and destroyed my knee instead (instant karma). So I missed the rest of that year and all of the following year. It was much the same when I retired. I missed all of one year but played the second half of the next season.

My goal now is to play until I am 50.

playful, you have absolutely no idea of how close I am to doing just that. My temperement is not designed to "just work out the string" so to speak and there is much of that going on at work .............. well I had better shut it or I will be so pissed off the rest of the day that I will not be fit company for the daughters.

sunney, my choice of partners has never been what one could call "sterling". I just haven't found women who love sex.

I do like Albert, though.
Here's one for you.
Agree or disagree (and explain why)-
THe speed of light is not constant.

Jay, Albert rocks!!! not being a theoretical phsysicist, I had to give this some thought and chat with some buds at PSU. Looking over the information that was given to me, both theories on c being constant or not constant are correct.

The speed of light will be constant in a vacuum and space is a vaccuum. Over the years, the fine structure constant of which the speed of light is part has withstood every challenge thrown at it. It is consistent with observable phenomena.

However there is ongoing research by physicists to disprove c[/] as a constant due to observing the relationship of light passing through atoms that are 12 billion years old. At this point, although it is observed, it has not yet been verified because no method of verification exists.
