Put it together and what have you got?

To be totally off kilter for a while, I saw one of the funniest things I have seen in a long while.

My oldest daughter has a very set routine for preparing for a soccer match that last about 30 minutes. Once she completes this, she puts on her headphones and listens to her IPod and stays warm before the game begins.

I was sitting with the coaches helping prep the varsity team and the other two coaches and I started watching what she was doing. She was hopping and dancing and she was singing and the players around her were laughing hysterically.

One of the coaches reads lips and started to see what she was singing. The scourge of the high school scene was not singing or hard rock to get herself psyched for the game. Nooooooooooo.

The words "bippity boppity boo" were lip read by the coach. Yep - she was singing along to music from Cinderella. She was hopping over a soccer ball and just being a kid for five minutes before she got down to business.

Shouldn't we all be so lucky?

(doesn't have the glass slipper, just the sequined ruby slippers)

But yeah, reverting to "kiddom" can be liberating.

lmp, the sequined ruby slippers sound too cool. And did you steal them off of a wicked witch?
