It's a mad world

Is it any wonder that I have little time to spend dating. Let us analyze this weekend with my girls.

Friday evening:

Soccer practice from 3-5
High school football from 6:30-10
Indoor soccer from 10:30-midnight

Soccer practice from 8-10
Shopping from 11-2
Nap time from 2:30-4:30 (very important)
Dinner from 5:30-7
Party from 7-1am (more info to follow)

Salmon fishing from 6-10
Laundry and chores from 10-12
Daughter's soccer match from 12-2
Movie from 3-5 (Wallace and Grommet:excellent)
Bedtime at 8:30

I am absolutely knackered. I had no time to even write a blog this weekend. With a schedule like this, how do I get the girl?

(snickers at "nap time") Actually it's kind of funny about 4 or 5 of us were making "nap time" comments while chatting in the Chicagoland room about a week ago...LOL

What is it, over 40 and need widdo nappies?

Keep in mind I'm the one that suggested the pajama party for the ChicagoLand Blogger's Convention...

Maybe that sort of event is where you "meet the girl" ??? ;">

playful, "nap time" is an integral part of weekend life for me and has been for years. I don't tend to get too much sleep through the week.

I guess you'll have to get the girl here.
Or go to Starbucks once in a while.
I went there the other day eventhough i hate Starbucks like people hate WalMart. I refuse to call what is obviously the smallest size by the name of large.
anyway, I digress
I was being checked out but its hard to interrupt a woman in a cell phone conversation with her lawyer so I may just go back and just sit there and look good.

hi there, i can sure relate. as my two children, boy and girl, have developed quite the social lives over the past year! not only is our schedule packed, but i spend a decent amount of time shuffling from atm's to social events to obligatory places such as gym and grocery store. i get whipped from all the to and fro. i am glad to see them having a nice time with friends and relatives. i also really enjoy the breather. that being said, i wish that i were a better planner. i often have a few hours of downtime between errands and such, but it is hard to make connections on the spur of the moment. lastly, i must agree- walmart bad and starbucks bad too.

snatchmatch, the days whip by when all you are doing is chauffeur work. I look out about three weeks and my schedule is totally filled: and it is not with hot dates.
